Ghost Viper, the new Proc set

Just when you thought Viper was bad, now there's Ghost Viper. The set that doesn't even need any attacks to proc! Seriously what is going on here? I was getting sniped by a hundred ranged AD and get hit with a random viper proc

✭Viper procs off Duel Wield skills. It also hits you prior to the actual skill so the Flying Blade below it, is what triggered the Viper Proc.NA Server - Kildair3 -

✭Maybe Flying Blade counts as melee, as Dual Wield is a melee weapon and therefore, all its skills were blanket classified as melee. If I'm right, then Flying Blade needs a fix, not Viper.@Mic1007

✭I tried this set out a while back in Craglorn with bow and duel wield. Every skill in the D/W line proc'd it. I couldn't get the bow to proc it for anything. Nothing from any bow skills regardless of distance would proc for me.NA Server - Kildair0 -

Have you tried on "clear" weapons? As my friend used my char as dummy, we have found that Viper procs on Poison weapon enchant (main hand). In addition this seems to proc even if target wasnt hit directly after some time unless in range of 7 meters once again.0 -
