I shudder to think what you will make of MB if you fought him back at launch Lol

Yeah, it's trendy to pretend she wasn't OTT at release, but let's not kid ourselves in our rush to look like badasses.
This is why we can't have nice things.
She was a challenge, not impossible. Now I run into overland trash mobs that are tougher. I can't remember the last time she even lived long enough to transform fully. It isn't about being badass, it's about having more of a challenge than a huge "I Win!" Button.

Horsehockey. Doshia's difficulty at launch was based largely around whether you chose EP or another alliance and whether your class/weapon choices gave you a good AOE by level 6. If you chose correctly, you were up against an good challenge. If you chose incorrectly, you were up against an infuriating, thoroughly not-fun bit of bad game design.
Did they go too far? Sure, I'll concede that. ZOS doesn't exactly have a strong talent for nuanced changes. But it's aimed at pre-level-10s, for crying out loud. Noobs who have not a clue how to play the game yet should not have to deal with thing YOU find challenging. That's just bad design.
