Witches Festival Question

As most of you are aware the witches fesival is coming out tomorrow and with it comes a new item of sorts. I know the cauldrons "magical" effects (the double XP and the plunder skull thingy) wear off after the event has ended, but do you still get to keep the polymorph that comes with it or does that count as a "magical effect" also?

Well i can just guess, sins teh festival still lasts: when the cake event was ended the animation for the cake still was the very same, so i think the polymorph of this event will also still be there
Also: why pay the designers to make a new and special polymorph just for a short time?
