Normal dungs nerfed again?

Hi!
Yesterday i failed 5 normal dungeons in a row, trying to complete daily, and today it was so easy that i just pressed Biting Jabs, and the stuff including bosses died.
Anybody else noticed sudden change again?
Checked patch notes and hotfixes but found nothing there.

Nope. Some normals are easy (Direfrost Keep). Some became the same complexity as veteran version. From today's run on my DD.
    • normal Direfrost Keep - tank trash mob is 80K HP. (queue) Bosses are less than 1M HP.
    • normal Wayrest Sewers 2 - Wraith (mage, so should low HP) is 200K HP. Nothing is less than 100K HP. (got it is as random normal). Bosses are more than 1M HP.
    • normal RoM - all mobs are higher than 100K HP. (queue)

So difficulty is really inconsistent. You just had good luck today.

That was my award for being patient as I had no internet connection for most of the day B)
You guessed right, today it was Direfrost Keep. So nice after yesterday's madness of being wiped left and right, by everything.

So basically it's a complete mess, all normal dungeons should be a similar level of difficulty. I don't want to be too hard on the devs and give them the benefit of the doubt but how hard can it be to normalize health/damage of the normal dungeons. I suppose it must be more difficult than I imagine for some reason, some explanation of what's going on from zos would be nice at this point.

I think I see a reason for the variations,
Direfrost cant be solo'd because you need 2 people to open the door. Thats why its the eaaiest for the a group.
Before the update all the dungeons were super easy to get silver pledges even as a solo player and with scaling. Then again i could just be crazy.

There have always been different difficulties on the dungeons. I like that they are not all the same. When we see the pledge is an easy dungeon we jump on our low level characters and take full advantage. We may also grab a new guild member that is struggling and hasn't done many dungeons and get them through it. Lately we have been doing the hard versions for the extra keys on as many characters as we can, then running the dungeons again on normal for other members of the guild when needed.
It is good that there are dungeons you can take people new to dungeons through without causing them to be over whelmed then when they get the confidence you can step it up some without having to jump to vet levels.
and then the parrot said, "must be the water mines green too."

My best guess that they are copied at least HP value from vet (possibly other stats too). Because on Wayrest Sewers, wraith is 200K HP on both normal and vet version (at least before patch).

It looks like the problem is only with part 2 dungeons (old vet) and DLC dungeons. I have visited normal Spindle 2 after my comment, and and mobs have the same HP as on vet version (130K-400K HP).

Noticed the same thing. Can solo Wayrest Normal no problem, same with Vaults of Madness (can solo the vet version rght up tot he last boss, she hits like a truck in vet version.)

But try Spindleclutch 2 and everything is waaaay harder, more health damage everything.

lol only thing I can't solo in VoM is the first boss,I get him to 5% and he does his drain.after that it's easier.

I like to assume they did it on purpose and trying to make some sort of tiered system with steps in difficulty. They would of course have to come it and say something about it, for us to know. So chances are we will never know.
