What happened today maintenance-wise?

There was a maintenance window today that started at 6am ET this morning. After it completed somewhere around 9am which was the expected time it would be back up, I signed back on without issue (I may have had to update the client, i can't remember) and I played a couple hours. I then went out for a couple hours, and when I came back, tried to sign in, and got the message about having an invalid or out of date client and had to update again. it only took a couple minutes, but that was weird. Was there some sort of lightning mini-patch later this AM?

✭✭✭✭✭Was a hotfix for the grouping bug in Cyrodiil and I think something to do with selecting the EU server on the sign in screen.
