Can I transfer my Characters from NA to EU?

Hi, the answer is probably no, but I just wanted a definite answer on this before I leave the NA server and split up all my loot. :) Thanks in advance!

I don't believe it's possible, but I would love it if we could. I would leave the NA server for dust if I could take some of my existing characters and all their stuff to EU

No, different servers so you can't transfer loot either. You will have to start fresh on the new server.
PUG Life - the true test of your skill

18 characters, 17 max level, at least 1 Stam and 1 Mag of every class, 1 of every race and 1200+ CP

Tanked to Undaunted 9+ Mag and Stam of every class using Group Finder for 90+% of the Vet Dungeon runs

Since you no longer need to download the game twice to play on NA and EU, I started a character on EU. At first it was a pain being all 'new' again without having an army to back up the new guy, but loot drops are fast and with the whole world open, it's been fun.

Also you should bear in mind that nothing you have bought in the store will transfer over if you play in European Tamriel.

There's no reason for you to get rid of all your NA stuff. I mean, especially if you have a crafter or done lots of achievs on one or whatnot. You can always just pop in from time to time to run around. A lot of people play on both servers.

If you need any help getting started on EU drop a line :)

Thank you all! I will message you @Coatmagic if I need anything. Right now, I am just trying to get set up with training gear and so on.

As for playing on NA too. I would love to do that, but I want to really shift focus to EU because of the ping difference. I think going back to bad ping after EU ping would just frustrate me. I'm actually doing some semblance of a rotation now even at a low level.

You can drop me a message too if you need a hand with anything crafty. After a few months my EU crafter just max leveled in most craft skills except Enchanting ( 45 ) and alchemy. She knows 5-6 traits on most things.
Enchanting is still a real grind and a pain to level, despite Zenimax's excuse that messing and ruining the rune nodes was to "make enchanting more attractive"
Piffle. It needed more XP !

I have characters on both, but I play the game on EU as it is my favourite. My experiences with the players there are that they are so much more friendly and less toxic.

@BlueViolet Thank you so much, that would be really helpful. I like the NA people and the friends I made, but so far I have noticed that the EU folks are much friendlier too, and the zone chats seem calmer?

I was max enchanter/provisioner on NA lol and Enchanting was the last skill line I levelled. It is such a pain.

I will def drop you a message!

Add me if you like, and perhaps I can help you out with traits for learning when you want to start crafting or an enchanter exchange when I finally make the grind to 50

Worth it to send in a support ticket and ask.

I'd paper clip a Benjamin to the corner of the ticket though :)

Hi all- I'm a CP600 EU player- that has been UNABLE to play since homestead due to the lag drops. before it was a barely playable 350-400 to now- decidedly unplayable 400-500. all i have been able to do is writs and feed my horses, to my guildies they must have think i ve died.

I found the NA server much better for my location (asia/oceania) with pings of 250!
however unable to transfer- I am now also forced to noob up all over again- a years worth of work / gear / time. Its been heartbreaking but I love the game so i really have no choice.

I was going to start a new post- but seeing as alot are in the same boat- was wondering if anybody here had also 2 acounts- and would be willing to do a transfer of funds and resources- so I would give the EU server player gold and materials and some gear perhaps- and the NA account player would give me the same amount on my NA account.

long way to say it- but LOOKING FOR EXPERIENCED NA/EU player to swap GOLD and MATERIAL to help me get started on NA server.

again- i m an experienced player so looking to trade in the millions , perhaps a couple hundred thousand to start. My username is @Makofore on both servers.

    thanks.

    I wish you could,

One similarity I'm seeing in MMORPGs is that in GW2 European players are better and more competitive than NA players.
Same thing is happening in ESO too.

I mean, I log into AvA... Only guild doing AvA is SG... Not even another guild doing AvA, nothing but solo players chalmo'ing it all day.

I bet in EU servers, its more guilds, more playing together, a real feeling of playing an MMORPG and not SOLORPG.

Sort of. There's plenty of action that's for sure.

Egowen - v16 Dunmer Whipping Expert (Riding crops eluded her)
(Yes, I had to grind all these to v16)
Akamanakh - lvl 22 Khajiit GankBlade (Inspired by Top Cat)
Targos Icewind - lvl 34 Imperial (Future) Jabplar

The only things that transfer between servers are loyalty rewards from before the game went b2p. So ice wraith pet, senche tiger mount etc. Starting from scratch is not so bad, especially if you do it during a double xp event.
