For those choosing I expected to see a Sorc with self buffs but no group buffs, why do you choose that when DPS tests are known to be without group buffs.

No that would be idiotic, but to me no buffs means no buffs. If I see a title similar to this one I take it as those numbers are before buffing. I would assume that they buff on top of the stated numbers before doing the test, although I know obviously those kind of numbers would be impossible.

How about if someone says Mag Sorc 4300 Spell Dmg 37K max mag DPS test unbuffed do you take that as self buffed or not buffed at all?

I used to run those stats but it is obviously not sustainable, run kena (full set) clever alc (full set) Torugs with nirn (2 pc) enchant 1 sword with spell dmg 3 pc. willpower hit target with entropy til frag procs 2 light attacks from swords procs kena plus enchant and you have 5700 spell dmg for 5 secs and about 4500 for another 7 seconds I believe.

You are better off with julianos, kena, willpower and torugs though. Anyways there you go.

I always go with the "no buffs" except the long term and static ones, like mundus stone and food.

Anything else is situation depended and should not count towards your advertised baseline.
No self buffs and certainly no group buffs.

Bloodspawn now have 3kk health right ?

So for ex. sorc/templar/dk magicka dps will not be able to do competentative dps without pots. With average 30k/damage per second.

You mean 3mm health? Last I checked it was still 1.5 mil but I did hear they were upping its health. That shouldn't affect what is competitive DPS. Bloodspawn just lets you figure your DPS, unless the trial bosses have more health now the total health of the Bloodspawn should not have an effect upon the accuracy of testing. In fact more health on the bloodspawn should paint and more accurate picture of dps.

100 seconds fight without pots is challenging itselt, because no drain.
And Bloodspawn was never a solid test and never will be, it is stand and hit fight no skills required.

If I were to read that title my mind goes, "well I dunno how you get that much spell damage 'unbuffed' so it must mean, 'no group buffs' so it's gotta be self buffed."

So I think self buffed - no group buffs.

Imo when making such a claim, it's to add in self buff you know will always be up. For a sorc this would be Power Surge, Food, ... and that maybe it. But seeing as you can easily have 100% up time, i think it's fine to include.

Per the poll it seems the community is pretty divided on it (at least the forum community), granted those expecting self buffs are 7 percent higher. However some are probably voting for self buffs just because they view the thread as click bait, which is ironic as someone posting max stats with everything up is posting click bait so my point was that no buffs = no buffs. Can we figure it out what they mean? It seems about 50 percent of us can and the rest of us may be a little slow. Or maybe the rest of us just go by say what you mean and mean what you say. Eh whatever.

Seems like everyone is creating a build and putting whatever will draw the most amount of views whether or not it is true.
