Dawn's Wrath spells dealing 0 damage

So I put points in & morphed to Reflective Light and Dark Flare. These used to be awesome spells that did a direct damage and now they don't. Reflective Light (morphed) only deals damage over time and Dark Flare doesn't do the Major Defile or Empower. This is on 2 templars that I have. Is anyone else having this issue? I loved those spells prior to the One Tamriel patch because as a healer I could simply cast those every to often to help out killing things. Now I have to use melee spells in the Aedric Sprear tree just to deal damage.
