Depends really. When leveling a new character it´s a pain in the ***. Before UD12 I could craft myself some level 10 training gear and it would work just fine until I reached level 50. Now that´s not possible because of the new scaling system. Now I need to recraft new gear every 5-10 level in order to not get 1 shooted by mobs. The issue gets even more real when I can´t find the crafting materials I need (I have 2 character to farm mats on) for my character I level (When I level an alt I don´t want to farm mats with that character since leveling isn´t that much fun tbh), since it´s also scaled since UD12. And the argument about doing crafting writs is just pathetic. Once again I need to rely on RNG from writs were I get 25 random mats.......

The con is that once I´ve reached level 50 with my alt everything is as it should be and being able to get cp160 gear with the new overland sets is nice.

I am relatively new to the game and although I really enjoy the new update I find the lack of being able to go back and gather low level crafting mats to be an issue.....nothing major but an issue nonetheless.

The update came at the right time as some of my friends just got into the game and it means I could run with them on my main rather than with a character I would have normally not played. Although I think the scaling still needs some tweaks as it's evident you are higher level because mobs are melting quicker than they should be doing.

I love that I can go into any area and play the game and be an appropriate level. I cannot see how this is a negative at all, though some seem to think so. This patch was a HUGE step in the right direction for the games longevity. All zones feel alive now.

Now if they can just change RNG !!! Get rid of PROSPEROUS and TRAINING Traits in dungeons and undaunted chests !!!!

I resubbed for one-tamriel and I am not disappointed. Even my wife plays again.

"I am a nightblade. Blending the disciplines of the stealthy agent and subtle wizard, I move unseen and undetected, foil locks and traps, and teleport to safety when threatened, or strike like a viper from ambush. The College of Illusion hides me and fuddles or pacifies my opponents. The College of Mysticism detects my object, reflects and dispels enemy spells, and makes good my escape. The key to a nightblade's success is avoidance, by spell or by stealth; with these skills, all things are possible."

My enjoyment has suffered quite a bit from this update, but not completely due to the scaling. Scaling for the most part hasn't been noticeable to me unless I play my main right after/before playing my lower alt - then I am bothered because things honestly don't seem any different. I feel like it should be much easier for her, but it isn't. So in this case my feeling of progression is suffering with my lower characters and I care less about levelling.

But it is other aspects of this update that have made me play less. Specifically:

    1. Dolmens. They were one of my favorite things, especially solo or with just a couple of people, but now they are being farmed by loads of players, presumably for daily quests. I was trying to get one done just to clear a zone and there were about 15 people there every time it spawned. I barely get to hit anything and it is downright boring now.

    2. Delves. Often completely cleared because there are a lot of people now. But in the occasional one that isn't cleared (I sometimes hang out and wait for things to respawn) there are always still 2-4 people camping the boss. So again, hardly get to hit it (if at all) before it dies, and it dies almost immediately after respawning so sometimes there is a bit of waiting around.

    3. Writs. I had left two characters at 9/10 crafting just to get surveys in Craglorn. Since the update I haven't even had one in Craglorn on any character. I also find the surveys rather rare so I'm just ending up with a bunch of mid-level materials I have absolutely no use for... they should at least give you the mat type you used to complete the writ.

    4. Rawl'kha. Other cities are probably bad too (I have avoided Mournhold) but this is where an alt is currently stuck questing so I can't avoid it. There are so many people that today my game crashed after I teleported there. When it doesn't crash, the people stay black and don't load for ages. I wish they could find a way to partially instance it or something because there are way too many people there.

I had the day off today and thought I would spend a decent amount of time playing, but I got disheartened by not being able to enjoy any dolmens and delves and then trying to deal with Rawl'kha was sort of the last straw. I hope the boss camping settles down once people attain whatever gear they are trying to get, but I don't have much hope for the dolmens. Those really should not be a daily quest.

The people currently doing dolmens and delves like it's going out of style are farming the new sets. Dolmens have the best chance of dropping jewelry, and delve and world bosses drop specific armor slots. Give it a week or two and it will settle down and things will be mostly back to normal.

The new survey shipment crates were added because crafters were concerned about not getting materials that were NOT of their crafting level, so they will never be the same kind of material that you used for the writ. But the surveys now give you more mats when you do get them.

Finally got around to rolling my Stamsorc:

    1. Setup addons, bindings.
    2. Got training gear from bank.
    3. Teleported to a random guild member in Alik'r Desert.
    4. Joined the Dolmen farming run.
    5. Hit level 5 on my first Dolmen.

I love being able to do DLC content whenever I want to rather than having to wait until a character is level 50 or suffer the problem of being over-leveled when returning to the base game content.

I love my characters being able to return to lower level areas and getting worthwhile xp and loot from everything they do there while e.g. harvesting.

I love my characters always being at level for the content they're doing while still getting a full sense of advancement as they progress in levels and cps.

The extra challenge from some encounters is a bonus.

One Tamriel is definitely a winner for me.
