PS4 bugs

Hi

I intend this to be a place to register PS4 bugs that i and others hopefully, have come across

I realise that many bugs are not platform exclusive but i can only report PS4 bugs as i only play the PS4 version

Heres one for starters

Destruction Staff

Upon a death of an enemy in PVE, or a player in PVP, whilst using a destruction staff, then screen will freeze for 1-2 seconds while said death occurs. It can also be that a member of your group has killed something while you have a staff equipped causing the freeze. It can happen any where in tamriel in any area. Cyrodiil, trials, and PVE zones. In large trash mob kills the screen can freeze for many seconds at a time causimg you to completely lose comtrol of your character for the duration.

1 screen freeze

This bug has happened to many of my trials friends, including myself. It can happen to anyone at anytime and after many runs it is still unclear as to what or why this happens but it is more common in the boss fights.

A player will be playing the game and the screen will lock up, and audio will stop, however the group chat audio will still be working so at least he or she cant notify the raid group that they are going to have to close the app and relaunch in order to continue the trial.

2 playstation error code blue screen

Again it is still unclear as to what causes this but it does seem just as common as the above bug i have previously mentioned.

3 using block, L2 on the PS4 controller

Just recently many of my raid team have been saying that block is not working, especially in the rakkat fight where the boss can knock you back. It can also not work against the shadowguards and the savages causing all players to be continuously crowd controlled.

4 unable to respawn

There can be times when all the raid team can be killed and when the enemies have reset no one can respawn. A work around has been for a player to leave the group and be reinvited after respawning outside of the trial.

I never knew it was the destro staff specifically that cause that small freeze after each kill. I thought it happened after each kill in general. Make sense though, since it only happens on my sorc. It gets pretty annoying in vma

I have to admit i did not know this until it was pointed out to me. As far as i know this is a known bug.

Use of maps in wayshrine menu

There can be a bug where you use a wayshrine but can only use the map of your current area, and you are not able to see the map of tamriel or the aubris. You can use your friends list or guilds lists to travel to others ares should someone on those lists be in the are you desire, using the travel to player option.

A couple of items are not showing up in my inventory, Bathrobe of Vigor and Bracers of Bahraha's Curse. But do show up at a Clothing Station when looking through deconstruction, improvements and research etc. I opened another Unidentified Bahraha's Curse and got Robes of Bahraha's Curse, this shows up in inventory and Clothing Station.
Any ideas?

Character being stuck in sprint and unable to use abilities

I have noticed this mostly on a stamina sorcerer in veteran maelstrom arena. It can occur after a dodge roll is performed. Using another dodge roll can cure this bug if you still have stamina left and have noticed before you have died. Death also cures this bug

i usually get a bsod when entering a cloth shop,the one in Orsinium -close to wayshrine is a perfect example

A lamia attack can sometimes send you gliding through the map for several seconds before you are eventually pinged back to your starting position

Kicked to character load screen

Was in direfrost keep about to start attacking the mobs befor the second to last boss and the entire group was kicked out back to the login screen and the dungeon was reset and all loot was removed from inventory

Elemental rage destruction staff ultimate on magic sorcerer

Using elemental rage on a high elf magic sorcerer will cause all other abilities to not fire or function erratically. Weaving breaks, ground based AoE breaks, force pulse, ward, power surge all do not fire when activated

Using dyes at the dye station

While using the dye station your character will go out of focus making it difficult to see what the results actually look like

Veteran city of ash II

At the two bosses right before the skoria fight the game will stop and eso will lock up making the ps4 churn out network errors despite ps4 network functions working properly

I have seen this happen to a tank where he got stuck in infinite CC.

Break CC, instnat CC, break CC, instant CC, so on and so on and with no enemy insight to do so.

He is not a vampire so i suspect it can happen to anyone

This is happening ro a lot of people in the elden root tree, some people go to change armour and blue screen, others have said they log in and insantly blue screen

Only thing i can think of is that items in your bank can show up on crafting tables while not being in your inventory.
Other than that i have no idea
