Making "Training" Traits Work for Everyone

Simple concept to make Training better (and even desirable):
Rename Training to "Efficient"

In addition to increasing training, you gain X% bonuses to weapon/armor passives (based on which items the traits are equipped,). This would would make the concept that these weapons are better in the hands of skilled individuals, making them able to get more out of them than others. The goal is not to give the passives a large buff, but just one and sets them apart from other traits with something unique.

No. Simply remove it from endgame gear. Win.

i agree, perhaps give them a small reduce stam cost buff.
i like having a world where we have a diverse world of armour- not all divines and impen- instead we need to make the other traits viable. an interesting tamriel would be one where a group of 12 each have different traits to suit them and the group -- or different traits at different times. rather than eliminating these traits- make them as good as impen and divines. it ll make things more interesting to me at least
right now everyone wants 2 of 9 traits in every piece, really hard odds for every piece- every character to be impenned up.

it would still fall into one of two categories.

If better then divine become meta
if worse then divine then decon pile

The problem with Training isn't that its more useless (lets face it reinforced really?) it's that it gives the appearance of being more useless. Truthfully there is no reason whatsoever to have training/prosperous/well-fitted/reinforced in the game. Removing them would raise the chance of a good trait to 24.5%.

This is exactly what I was thinking to fix these traits; just give them a combat bonus.

If you want training on your armor you should just craft it. That way you also increase your crafting skills. Training shouldn't be an option at all on dropped sets.
and then the parrot said, "must be the water mines green too."

I don't want it in game either, but if ZOS is determined on keeping it, then lets at least find a way to make the gear at least something other than vendor trash or decon fodder.
