Excitement turned sour really quick

I was really excited for One Tamriel like most of us. Now that several days have passed since it's release my excitement turned sour really quick up to the point i kinda don't even feel like loging in to the game.
It started with the first thing i wanted to do when loging in to One Tamriel, the pledge keys. I openened 40 keys and haven't got 1 single peace of gear worth sloting. Of 40 tries i got 1 divine and 1 inpen, rest was training, prosperous and sturdy. That killed all my will to even go for monster set farming on very first day they got out.
Second thing that got me right from the start was that more then half of skill visual effects were gone. Realised that when was trying out dueling. ground base dots, ranged skills, meteor landing on my face without any warning and no visual queue what so ever. Only way to see how i died is to look death recap.
Then you go and respawn, but 2 sec later i die again to same death recap i resed from. If that doesnt happen then my HP starts droping, again no reason, and stops at some point but it gets desinced and you cant heal it up. Honestly in all my time in One Tamriel i spen more time HP desinced then not. All this problems also persist in PvE dungeons as well. Couple of days ago, for the first time in my ESO carrere i was called noob, because i kept dying to last boss. Never saw any attacks, didnt loose any hp, then all of the sudden im dead. When i look at the recap i have bunch of different stuff hitting me i never saw or my HP have registered it. Again i respawn but die immediately to same recap, but this time you cant respawn and have to relog.
So, i gave up PvE and back to Cyro. I took less then halfan hour to realize its pointless. HP desinc 90% of the time, and not a little one, Im literally runing around with 30% of my hp. Never died to meteor before, but now if you drop meteor on me its certain kill since i cant block it (no visual queue), getting insta gibed by a 5 snipes in a row but never saw any nor my hp droped at any hit.
Now im sitting at my desktop without any will to log in to a game. All i can expect is bunch of frustration, nothing more.

Not to to say I don't feel bad for you but the major cause of this and it's happened to me is turn off all your add on ons after a new patch. They make major coding changes to the game and the add on designers have to go make sure the add ons are compatible.

Yea most of my add-ons are out of date. Will try turning them off, but kinda doubt it will fix not being able to see skill effects, but worth a try. Thx

For the skill effects there is a thread around here with a strange fix. Set requestnumthreads and requestnumbworkerthreads in your usersettings file to "-1" from whatever it is. It worked for me immediately.

Tried it, didn't work! Belive me, running to forum complaining wasn't the first thing i did. I spent 2 day trying to fix my issues, nothing worked. Now im tired of trying anymore, im just sour now wishing One Tamriel never came. Atleas i could play without any troubles before. Thx for trying to help, I appreciate it!

same here, I am EU PC so i have the issue of just getting into the game, I Spent over 4 hour after patch went live just figuring that out myself, ten more time deleting the downloaded folders and modding and pasting in my own pre save file folders from pre patch.

Same issue with skill effects, actually makes it impossible to tell if my skills have activated or not, can not tell if a buff or proc is up or not, no point even playing if you can not see what your character is actually doing

It is the least favorable option, but one that might have the biggest chance of success: reinstall it all. The game and add-ons.

I too have had gamebreaking bugs that were impossible to fix, but reinstalling the whole thing fixed it every time. You already lost the will to play at the moment, so the wait shouldn't be that bad.

I've also encountered these exact issues! First i thought it was because of some serious lag i was having with my initial log in but this wasn't the case......i will try these suggestions, but damn after a struggle and a half just to log in(on pc-eu) this was very uncool to be happening....

Thanks @danno8 I changed user settings Set requestnumthreads and requestnumbworkerthreads to "-1" and some are clearlly visible now,, not quite as good as pre patch but a definite improvement.

Just really sad that players and the community are the only ones with answers to issues and also some temp fix's
