What is Your Preferred Server?

I'm just really curious as to the server populations, so what server do you prefer to play on?

Prefer? It's not a matter of preference... If I play on PC and live in Europe, I rather have one choice - PC/EU. Of course I can choose NA but what for?

I live in Texas and I split my days evenly between the NA and EU servers. Because I want to. There sadly wasn't an option for that so I voted EU because the people in my EU guild are a bit nicer.

I live in America, but I play PC EU because I play in the mornings and afternoon which aligns with EU primetime.

If anyone is wondering why the majority of players have currently voted for EU, it's because North America is still asleep.

I have tested both servers myself, but I have found that the NA community is far more toxic, so I decided to stick to the EU server.

It can be preference, because I know peeps from Europe and Asia and play on the NA server. I can't say how the European community is, since I haven't played on that server.

Lol true. Most of us will be waking up soon. And I've heard that EU community is the same. Guess people are same on both servers (but social faux pas obviously differ and cause some misunderstanding and whatnot). Anywho, if you find firm ground in the constant bullcrap of ESO, you'll find a nice community.

I play on PC NA. I have a co-worker that plays on PS4. I was able to torture him with details about One Tamriel. He's a huge Elder Scrolls fan.

It's not a matter of preference. I'm GMT+2 timezone so NA servers are not an option for me, despite my late night gaming habits. I won't hit prime time for East Coast there due to the 8 hour difference even if I stay up at 2-3 a.m. Sure I could make a few chars there, but being a multiplayer game there won't be any fun logging in on a mostly deserted server when most Americans are working or at school. It would be viable only for a few hours during the week-end but the overlap window with the other EU countries is still much wider. The worse of are people playing from Australia and East Asia, who have two equally bad choices, both in terms of time zone and actual geographical distance, leading to increased propagation delay (ping). If the only server was in NA, just as the early days, I probably wouldn't have bothered to buy the game in the first place because of the latter. As for platform preference, PC was the default choice, as I use it for other things and I didn't really find enough reasons to buy a console. Looking at the sheer utility addons bring to the game, and which are not yet supported on console, in retrospect this sure looks to be the optimal choice.

PC EU due to location, but was playing on PC NA occassionaly during the issue with logging... on NA ping around 180 - not bad, but the people there more quiet, shy... .

Mine lies even after I open it. Yesterday tried to connect, everything looked good, it showed Live-EU, and opened the server option and the box was ticked, so I proceeded to log on, then saw the intro, seemed odd, and then went to character creation window, at which point I realized that I logged on to NA server. Had to reopen the launcher, start the game and tick the box to Live then to Live-EU back again to actually make it connect to EU server. It's at least counter-intuitive and misleading, if not bugged altogether.

Ive got 300-400 ping on NA, sometimes it jumps to 999+... While on EU its around 70-100.

PS4-NA cause well sure im not the greatest player ever but at least PS4 minus all the *** elitist dps mods and crap I can actually get in a group and stay in a group without getting kicked out. I even end up learning quite abit about my character from other players offering advice. Something that never happened on PC cause well after a couple fights they see the dps difference with their shiny little mods and just kick.

I play on PC because when I got the game it wasn't out on consoles and I didn't want to switch (plus this way is cheaper, I only have to pay for my internet connection, not for permission from the console manufacturer to use it). I play on EU because that's where I live.

I have occasionally played on the NA server too, and may do it more often now I don't have to have 2 copies of the game installed to switch between them. But I'll be mainly sticking to EU, especially since crown store purchases don't carry over.

Well I've always been a PC gamer much more than a console gamer, so my choice of platform was obvious. Especially since this game didn't exist for console when I started playing...

As a Canadian obviously NA makes more sense for me. I did briefly start playing a little on the EU server not long after launch just to have more characters, but not being able to craft gear for my EU characters on my NA crafters killed that for me, so now I've just got multiple accounts in order to have the number of characters I want. I mean, I still have characters on EU, and occasionally I'll create a new one just because I'll get a concept in my head for creating a character (ie. "hey, I should make a ridiculously snooty Imperial and name him Lord Fancypants"), but unlike my NA characters I don't actually play those ones.
