question about prosperous armour

i was wondering- does prosperous improve chances of mining materials? or is it just gold from fallen foes?
for example is it worthwhile for me to make a "farming build" a character who wears all prosperous armour - in theory if i went out looking for rubedo leather for an hour id get 50 percent more ... the prices of leather and ore are still crazy so i ve taken to farming my own material for an hour every day. tedious and sad -but necessary for a set- just wondering if the prosperous trait isn't as trash as thought..

    And even then, impenetrable is still a much better trait because you end up saving so much gold from repairs

    @DannyLV702

    Not really. You incur armor damage based on Experience Earned, not damage received. The only time you get damage from a fight alone is when you die, and that is a fraction of the base Wayshrine fee.

    Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

    PakKat "Everything was going well, until I died"
    Gary Gravestink "I am glad you died, I needed the help"

    doesn't impen only apply to PVP?

    No it been updated to have the old study traits which reduce the damage your armor takes when taken damage.If your armor breaks you no longer get the bonus from training.If you run all prosperous gear you will lose money on repairing your armor to get that bonus so impenetrable is a better trait also with PVP having the best grinding spot impen gear can help you survive a gank and having to run back.
