Can't skip intro's when starting client with esc?

I used to be able to tap escape when launching the client to skip all the overly long intro's before login screen...

Locate the UserSettings.txt in the document folder, path should be something like C:\Users[name]\Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live
Find the line SET SkipPregameVideos "0" and change the "0" to "1". Then save the file and close it.
Clicking play on the launcher will now take you instantly to log in screen.Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

Weird, as it skips them on my install. I set this a long time ago and have not seen the splash screens on Live in ages. I keep them on the PTS so I don't accidentally log into that, or at least know I am logging to that
