Craglorn - a thank you

Zenimax,

Thank you for redoing Craglorn. Though it's somewhat annoying the quests I did already were completely removed and I had to restart it, it's far easier to get stuff done now, with a million people in the zone and all of them wanting to do the quests out there.

As far as the difficulty, I think it's just right -- I was able to solo those magical anomalies in the past, and I doubt I could do it now, which I think is a good thing.

And since I don't have any of the DLC yet, it was sure nice to have something new to do.

Much appreciated for new content for those of us with the base game.

Yes, thank you! I really appreciate the revamped Craglorn and all the effort that went into this. Much obliged.

I haven't tried it since PTS testing.

I love that it's no longer a group zone as I've never completed it on any of my 10 max level characters. Not because I couldn't find people to do it with - I actually sort of tried quite a few times. It's because we couldn't sort out who was where in what quest and each time it got more annoying to figure out than fun to do... and with no apparent reason to do it.

And I've been around since prelaunch beta so I'm one of those people who leveled quite a few characters from VR 10 to VR 14 on freaking wasps and such overland. That was un-fun.

I do miss the wicked hives of overpowered wasps, though. WTF were those wasps eating that made them so tough?

It was players grinding on those wasps and such to get to end level much quicker that destroyed Craglorn. Its all you ever saw in the zone. Im so glad it is now solo freindly as i loved the zone but it was near impossible to find a group for questing instead of for grinding Wasps or Overland bosses.

That absolutely absurd. The quests barely take place in the overworld at all. In fact, even at its height, Craglorn was mostly empty of people. Even when people actually did their "grinding" there on anomolies and such.

I don't mean to be xenophobic but learn English.

Also, you already have your own thread you created for the antithesis of this topic.

Most importantly Craglorn is packed with people for the moment because they never got to experience this content and for people who've played since launch this is likely the only zone they've never gotten to explore (without major frustration).

For me Craglorn now is just another zone, while before you had some difficult content to do, even with 1 or 2 friends. It was special because of that. Today we went with a friend to a delve and one shot the 2 bosses, so it's like any other delve in Tamriel, very boring.

Personally I prefer SOLO to forced-group, I thought Zenimax had removed the forced-group content in Craglorn, seems I misunderstood .. looks like I still won't see much of it like I never did in the past.

I tend to prefer solo too, but some things probably shouldn't be solo, such as those anomalies.

Yeah, I can't wait to finally do Craglorn on a few of my characters. I have a couple of characters who did a few of the group quests previously, but it was always such a pain to get a group organized for any of that, so I never completed the zone on any characters. I did have 1 character that I was working on soloing everything that I could manage to do solo there, and I had managed to get through a large chunk of the zone.

I suspect that making the questline all soloable will result in a lot more people going to Craglorn, which should make it easier to find people to group up with for the things there that still aren't meant to be done solo.

Also, I just realized last night that my main is now desperately short on skill points to put into the new weapon ultimates, so I need a source of skill points. Craglorn is pretty much the only place I can go to get them...

Ironically, now there are enough players in Craglorn to allow the old Grouping Content to be easily completed.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

Because we all like doing solo content with a bunch of other people!

I'm glad the zone is gonna get more love, it is quite pretty and dynamic. Although the emptiness while I was soloing all my uncompleted objectives a couple of weeks ago was kinda nice, too. Just, going around, doing my own thing.

Now if you can please get rid of the terrible placeholder icons for the Craglorn trials (Maw's isn't messed up, IIRC.. so it's not like the icon data poofed), that would be lovely. They are, as the kids say, ruining my immersion.

I think the "must group" aspect of Craglorn became a self-defeating thing...

People didn't go there to do the content because they didn't know if they'd be able to get groups, so the people who did go there weren't able to get groups, so people didn't go there because they didn't know if they'd be able to get groups, so the people who did go there weren't able to get groups, so people didn't go there because they didn't know if they'd be able to get groups, so the people who did go there weren't able to get groups, so people didn't go there because they didn't know if they'd be able to get groups, so the people who did go there weren't able to get groups, so people didn't go there because they didn't know if they'd be able to get groups, so the people who did go there weren't able to get groups, so people didn't go there because they didn't know if they'd be able to get groups, so the people who did go there weren't able to get groups, so people didn't go there because they didn't know if they'd be able to get groups...

With a mix of solo and group content, it should make it a lot easier to find groups in /zone for the group content. You know that if you go there you'll be able to do solo stuff if you can't find a group for the group stuff (or while you're getting a group together), so people are more likely to go there. If more people are there it's easier to find groups for the group stuff.

There is still group content in Craglorn. Actually why I think Craglorn is the best zone after T1 patched. I was blowing away mobs and went to Zhanni's school. Died twice, was like wtf, made some changes and then finally beat the arena. Then I found out it was group content as people were trying to fill groups in zone chat.

I typically hate PvE and actually enjoyed the moderate challenge. They should make different areas of every zone have different difficulty levels. Skeevers the easiest, humanoids around the middle, giants and stuff at hardest.

I don't agree with the user that you replied, but that was a ***** thing to say. He knows english, if he can express himself well, even with few grammar mistakes here and there, you shouldn't ask him to learn english, it's rude and condenscending. You tried to shut him up and make his opinion less valid by being an ***, try to reply with arguments instead of attacking his english. This game is played by people from all around the world.

Kinda spooky how closely we align on this. I soloed what I could with my main but had trouble finding groups so I'm looking forward to this. I also need skill points on my main (who maxed all crafting) so these sky shards will be a big help.
