Are you serious right now ZoS??? (Please fix the EU login)

I have choose Live-EU why on god green earth do i need to sit and frack wait for like 10 to 20 min to announcements to change or longer before i can login to EU this is beyond stupid if you dont want people in EU play ESO anymore you have done super good job of make stop play ESO serious this should be adress right way and not next week for in month.

You don't need to wait for the announcement to appear for EU to play.

You need to select Live and confirm, and then Live EU and confirm everytime you start the game, but you don't need to wait for the announcement.

i have done like 6 time and everytime i come to make new character everytime on NA server i not even on EU

2. Logout, select NA and login.
3. Logout again and select EU.

log back in
Select EULive
Exit
Spin round the other direction 3 times
If he will let you do it again, rub the head of the Bald Dwarf
Then and only then will you be able to log in.

Are you sure you were rubbing the head of the Bald Dwarf and not Thinning Hair Dwarf?

Even if you don't need to wait for announcements to be updated (but I have to, otherwise I attempt to log into NA server), each time you need to select Live server, accept, then back to EU server and accept. And it is UNACCEPTABLE!

We need a hotfix for this ASAP. It's not a "bug". It's just a waste of our time and a necessity to repeat the same sequence of actions over and over again.

@ZOS_GinaBruno could you shed a light on this if there is a hotfix incoming? Cause each time when I close the game and go back to it, I am assigned back to NA server and need to repeat all of these steps to be able to play on EU!

I tried this... but all the dwarves around here are hairy beasts... no bald ones... so I guess thats me not able to login then!

I total agree with you this is beyond stupid and in login it say The Elder Scroll Online (NA) even after i choose EU on pop up screen

He's right tho - it's damned annoying.

I can confirm that:

a) It does NOT remember my last choice and always starts connected to the US server (based on what it says in announcements) - even though the LIVE-EU server is selected on the top-left.
and
b) after you change it to LIVE, then back to LIVE-EU - it takes an age for it to actually switch to the EU server (as per the announcement message) - although to be fair, its usually only around 2 mins but it seems an age while you're waiting to play.
and
c) If I do hit play before the announcement message has changed, then I DO end up on the US server.

I guess its a case of NA working fine so f**k EU they can work it out themselves.

Wouldn't be so bad but theres been no word from ZoS only posts directing us to other players posts. having the issue is bad enough but total lack of help and silence from ZoS is even worse.

Some of the player fix's apparently work, for some, but if you log out , you have to go through it all again, that's just not acceptable.

Even I managed to login after some brain burn..this is a HUUUGE mistake ZOS.

Even I respect you so much sometimes u act like noobs .

I don't want to offense anyone... but such a great company to make this kind of mistake .. I can' t believe...

We are in 2016 and u can't manage to make a simple launcher to work ....Ok...a man can make mistakes...but must repair them.. Please fix this problem..this attract a negative impact for everything that mean ESO.

Yes.. a simple launcher that not work properly could be an answer for all other bugs that still are in the game .

Maybe u must fire a part of your coding and programing team and hire more competent people.

Please fix this fast .

I also have to pick live, then accept, then pick liveeu, then accept.

However I do not need to wait until the announcement changes, after doing the above I log straight in.

This really does need to be fixed though!

ahh i'm not the only one then.

but yes this should seriously be hotfixed, nothing seeing your characters missing to scare of new and old players

Definitely, because you are essentially faced with a scenario that very much looks like all chars are erased. At which point most players will simply walk away from the game. And most players do not in fact read the forums.

Probably could do with actually coming up in the launcher as a System Message to head this off.
