Veteran Banished Cells II

Anyone familiar with the mechanics for Rillis in Vet Banished Cells II? Group was being instantly killed after fighting him for a prolonged period and what killed us was not displaying on the recap. Just wondering if it is an enrage timer and dps race or if we were missing some other mechanic.

Mmh, unless it's a new mechanic, seems doubtful that an enrage timer actually got added.

Significant mechanics include the huge blue flames AoE (just get away from those) and small bubblez called "the Feast" moving slowly toward the boss, healing him for a lot if you don't destroy those (pretty much like Harvesters' ones). Last mechanic is a knockback projectile that you need to block or dodge roll.

The most notable cause of death would be the AoE, it might not show in death recap, but don't see anything else.

Thanks for the reply! Yeah the usual mechanics were certainly present but did little damage. Daedroth and Rillis seemed to have a little more health but that was expected. Whatever it was it was instantly killing the whole group at the same time.

Sounds like you were in BC2 and not BC1 if there were Daedroth involved. Could be any number of things but an enrage timer is probably not it.

If we are speking about BC II, it was runic curse I guess. Some people never clear it, even if healer tells them to do that once. And twice. And again and again.

I was mistaken, it was Banished Cells II, thank you for the correction. Runic curse is that the red or blue bubble that has to be cleared by standing on the appropriate spot on either side of the room? It could possibly have been bugged, but to kill the entire group at the same time seems strange.
