Back 2 years ago and well..Even slightly just months to a year ago i would come back over and over.. Only to find myself fighting Gods. I can remember fighting a guy that was VR 10 while i was VR5 and i remember using snipe at the guy, and he turned to look at me and just stared me down for 10 seconds knowing i wasnt doing any damage to him then came at me and one shot me. This wasn't the only situation where this happened. I then played my VR 10 templar, fought a VR 15 and my templar was magey, very magey i spammed several skills that would suppose to do high damage, and again.. Another person stops what hes doing, looks at me and stares me down for a few seconds then comes at me while im still slinging rocks and then Bashes me down to the ground dead in one hit. My question since tamriel has changed.. Are there still Gods in this game? Because this is what made me quit several times.. I want to play a game wheres its a fair playing field and i know VR have been taken out of the game but then there is still CP.. All these 2 years have not been a fair playing field and i sense it never will be unless.. Unless I work my way up to getting max CP and getting really good sets.. now will this help me combat those who don't die? Reaching max CP and getting really good sets? Or am i always going to face that few people that just don't get damaged?

The difference between then and now is, with the right gear, we can all be Gods.

Also, if you're way below the CP cap I would suggest playing on Azuras since it is a No CP veteran campaign now. You'll be on equal footing that way.

Due to the nature of online gaming, there will always be players who are better than you, just as you will always be a god to someone of lesser skill.

Its the nature of the beast.

Concentrate on checking out builds on tamriels foundry or something, or if you have some knowledge of theory crafting, take a look at what is available now and start getting the gear, while doing so, your CPs will go up to cap.

Gold everything out, learn your rotations and test yourself against players in duels, once you get a few victories under your belt, you will feel better and just fine tune your build.

It is like anything else, you want to be the best, then you fight the best.

    Train hard, fight easy:P

The days of immortal dk vampire emperors are long over.
Its mostly about oneshooting people with glass builds or running in zergs or stacking health regen and damage resistaces to become invicible but without a lot damage.

Also the lag got worse and pvp population cap is much much smaller now.

Jumping into PvP whilst rusty, never a good idea whether it's a MOBA or an MMO.

    1. Choose the right campaign for your level.
    2. Get the best gear and consumables you can.
    3. Zerg ride for a bit or follow good players.
    4. Watch Twitch or YouTube to get familiar with the class you want to play.

Not in that order but you get the gist.
