Server selection not working

Worked fine yesterday just after the patch, but as of this morning ( 10/6 at around 4 am GMT ) I can't log in to the EU server. I have selected LIVE-EU on the launcher but it will send me straight to character creation on the US one. Switching to US server and back to EU doesn't help either.

My launcher want to install the entire game, i can play only from eso64.exe.

Anyone with same problem?

I found that if I launched the game using eso64.exe then it sent me to the character creation screen of the NA server regardless of my server choice, but if I launched the game using the launcher it sent me to the EU server where all my chars are.

Well, I think the main problem is Zenimax mainly works with the Na version and then ports everything over to Eu version. I am sure Pts is ran in the united states its possible their is a bug that is making it default to the Na server. Something they will fix possibly with another Maintenance.

I found I can switch to NA server, accept it, then back to EU Server, go read emails for a minute or so and it will have accepted the selection. It's a *** workaround until ZOS fix it.

Definitely raise a support ticket asking for an ETA on the fix to raise visibility, this is really shoddy behaviour and just makes me think they don't even test anything against the EU server.

Pretty much I think they just merged the server options into one client that will connect to one or the other. But they set it so the launcher launches NA version by default so basically thats whats causing the glitch. They got some coding issues to fix. I am glad I only play on PC NA server. But I do think they need to fix it for the EU players. Even if they have to take the server offline for a few hours.

...can't log in even after going around and selecting the EU server with that trick... it keeps asking me to install a new copy of the game the new patch must be awesome... if only I could play and see the marvels it's brought to us. Fun.

The first time I saw EU on the left while I logged in (not at the launcher), but the announcement still said "NA", then I logged in the NA server. I logged out, select EU again, successfully logged in EU.

Après avoir fait une réinstallation complete du jeu, je me retrouve sur le serveur Eu, chouette j'ai mes persos !

Bon je deco, je reco et la toujours impossible de me reconnecter au serveur Eu, j'ai beau cliquer sur serveur(live-Eu) rien....

De qui se moque t'on ???

After Sleeps advice als wait a few min. As soon Announcements update to EU you can log in.

This is so ***, but when you are on the login screen, select eu, wait 5-15 minutes and then when it says "Welcome to EU blabla", log in and you're on EU side

NOTHING I DO IS WORKING. followed all the instructions - waited 10 minutyes for the 'red' thing to change - nothing - tried using eso64.exe and simply told that loads of .dll's are misssing ( which they are not).

WHAT IS GOING ON - FOR GODS SAKE CAN'T ANYONE DO ANYTHING RIGHT ANYMORE.

What worked for me:

Go to login screen. Open the server choice dialog, select NA, press OK, reopen the dialog, select EU, press OK, Login.

It has something to do with not properly registering the choice from the server dialog in the first place.

shut down everything that has to do with eso and then restart launcher

Yeah, I do this too, it works fine
