A few things I noticed with the newest patch

Hi, here are a few things I have noticed, in case anyone else is interested:

1. WHAT DID YOU DO ZENIMAX??? Before, my game would get 999+ latency on spawn, now I get the same as normal (250 or so), meaning the game is more playable to those on low-end connections
2. the game HATES alt-tabbing now, just tried it to make this post and it crashed.
3. (more of a question then an observation) do you still need to re-download the whole game to go on the EU server? Kinda curious about this since both are chosen from within the game now, will test and edit the post.

that's all I have seen that would impact a lot of people, if I find anything else will update this thread.

There is only a single game client now, so both servers can be accessed from the same installation.

I alt tabbed fine.. but I used borderless windowed.

There WAS something about an Nvidia feature that will effect performance? Maybe check up the patch notes and be sure that feature is off? Not sure if that's what it would do, just spit-ballin here.

How do I know if the server change worked? I changed to EU, restarted the game and it still showed the NA announcements AND it had both my characters. I thought EU would not have my characters (unless the change did not do anything).

You need to wait a bit until the EU announcement shows up. Heard it can take up to 5 minutes. Zos is working on making it work faster. The announcement changing is how you will know it actually switched what server you're logging into.
