Live EU Server keeps reverting to North American Server Problem

My Husband and I are both having similar problems. We log in and select EU server and get through all the disclaimers and settings etc. We can see our characters and login but when you log out and try to return it goes back to North American Server.

I have watched what happens in my Elder Scrolls Folders and it now doesn't generate a liveeu folder anymore just generates a live folder.

We have tried to delete the folder so it generates new ones but again doesn't create a liveeu folder just recreates the live folder so that every time we login it tries to place us into the NA server.

I have also noticed that the client never updates to show EU it always states (NA), but when you log in its says our sever choice is LiveEu but doesn't log into that server defaults back to NA again.

We have both completed repairs too in case there has been a problem with the download, but no problems found

At the moment the game is completely un-playable for the both of us, and being a guild leader this is extremely frustrating!

SO I have read through this thread and tried everything everyone has suggested.

I get in, but when I log out to try and sort my addon's it reverts back to the NA server again with new character creation.

So I am back to square one as I have to then redo all my game settings and then I don't have any addons again and it still hasn't created the liveeu folder.

I have been at this for 2 hours now and still nowhere near a resolve - I can see other threads about it as well so its not just me and I don't want to be constantly replying to each one to keep repeating myself.

I have been an avid player since Beta and never had any issues

Why do they have to break something that worked fine! What a waste of an evening and let down to One Tamriel launch!!

Being trying this aswell. I can't get it to save the settings. Now you have a 2 folders : Live and Live_archive. But whatever i do, I have to set all the settings again ..... really ZOS ?? .

And once again it only affects EU ? you really do hate us don't you

Well, at least it sounds like you can load into the appropriate server - I can't even do that.

I tried the NA server once for about an hour 3 or 4 months ago - otherwise I have always played on the EU one (maybe 3 to 5 thousand hours in total). I updated yesterday and answered all the questions to use the EU server for defaults, addons, and thumbs. Today it simply refuses to load into the EU server no matter what.

I select Live-EU : It loads the NA Server.
I select Live : It loads the NA Server.
I change to German language : It loads the NA Server.

...and all combinations there of.

If they don't fix this soon I guess I'll be canceling my ESO-Plus subscription.

Are you waiting for the announcement down the bottom to change to say it's on the EU server?

The trick still as good as yesterday right after the patch release (each login this should be done in order to connect to EU servers):

1. Get to Login screen - note that NA announcement present on the bottom:

2. Select NA server and press ACCEPT

3. Select EU server and press ACCEPT

4. Wait about 1 min and You will see EU server announcement:

but i would give it still high prio to fix it so EU doesn't need to go trough that everytime.
some game crashes are very unlucky timed and if one need to wait for minutes just to get onto the right server, vmsa weekly is doomed or a 3 hour pvp queue awaits one ^^

I am currently set at Server(LIVE-EU) on the left and at the bottom it says Version: eso.live.2.6.4######.

Yet when I log in I am in the US version no matter what.

It occurs to me that maybee no one did a live test on the launcher for these obvious glitches and design flaws.

I'm glad that I play on US server mainly. The game itself is great, and I have encountered no real problem with the new patch, just problems in actually logging into the eu server.

Every time I start the game, even though the server is set to LIVE EU it logs me to NA server. I need to log in as NA selected, then log back out, change to EU and log in to get it to work.

There is no liveeu folder anymore. It doesn't function. Not even on EU.

The whole game uses live folder now, both NA and EU. That's probably why you can't get your addons working, because you're trying to make them work with the wrong folder.

The folders in C:\Users\"Name"\Documents\Elder Scrolls Online are definitely messing things up.
I think because there's no more Live_EU it keeps revering to the NA server.

I tried deleting all these folders and start over from default.... Doesn't work. As soon as the Live folder is created, is becomes the Live_archived version when you start the game for the second time. It then asks you if you want to use the settings of the EU or NA server (click EU of course). Then you have to adjust setting once again and when you start the game for the third time BINGO NA server....

Conclusion:
Messing with the launcher was the worst idea they ever had..... The solutions ZOS offer don't work for ever... you have to keep changing it back.
