EU How do I restore my saved variables for my addons?

So for a lot of people it seems that all their add on variables have been reset with One Tamriel. I imagine most may have ran into this problem and for the life of me can not figure out how to restore them or where to move them etc. Anyone has any ideas? Too many add ons and settings to reconfigure all

Okay the bad news. If you didn't make a copy before the patch, unless ZOS rolls back that file, they are gone.

First, check the SavedVariables folder to see if they are still there. If they are there, open up a few and see if the addon named folder has data in it. If all that is there, make a copy right now!

If they are all there and data still there, are the Addons turned on? Any that haven't been updated to:
## APIVersion: 100017
and you haven't allowed outdated addons to run, they are simply turned off.

If they are all there and just need to be reapplied to your characters:

You will have to reset all your settings on at least one master character,

Then get the Joviex Addon Settings Transfer addon, it is outdated but still working. It will re-apply all addon settings from that master character to all the rest.

And for the future, also get Binder addon, it can archive all your control settings and load a saved set to each character that loses theirs. Also outdated but still working.

Hmm, all my settings were still there in a folder called _archive, inside the ESO folder in My Documents.

I just used Minion and redirected it to the new folder and all my addons worked without having to copy any folders.

All my settings were in-place and no Archive folder. But I am NA-PC.

I only use NA and selected LIve at login.

If it is going to be a problem for dual-server players I hope ZOS gets a PSA out.

@ZOS_GinaBruno Just a ping in case this hasn't been seen in other threads. And it will really cause a lot of frustration if it is as commented on above.

Regardless of what server you're on, all your add-ons and settings should be in the "live" folder, as the "liveeu" folder will no longer exist. All add-ons and settings were moved there automatically from your respective previous folder when the launcher detected that both folders existed, depending on whether you chose NA or EU from the popup box.

• If you selected EU, everything was moved from "liveeu" to "live", and the stuff already in "live" was moved to "live_archive"
• If you selected NA, "liveeu" was renamed "liveeu_archive", and "live" was not changed

So even if you chose the wrong one, or if you play on both servers, none of what was there before was lost, as it will be in one of the _archive folders. But regardless of what server you actually play on, everything needs to be in "live".

Hey, for anyone having the same problem basically what @Enodoc said, I basically copied all from the 'live_archive' folder and pasted in the 'live' folder for my particular case, I know some others had problems with not having an archive folder etc. Hope you all or this thread helps with this. Just to note this is mainly an EU issue for NA commenting had no problems, simply due to the shuffling around this has done.

I managed to fix it . In my case, I am an EU player that had installed the NA version as well. Exit the game, go to your liveeu addon folder, copy every thing from addons to saved variables etc into the live folder.

Relaunch the game, and ignore the prompt that asks you if you would like to keep live or live eu addons, because that will reset your change.

I have all my settings back !
