Which undaunted chest gives me which reward ?

Hey there

I've been wondering, which chest drops the new sets, like Infernal Guardian and Illambris.
I don't have so many keys and I don't want to waste them on the wrong chests.

It seems like the former gold chest, is now the silver chest and vice versa.

The dungeons that a certain quest giver gives... matches what sets will come from the chest named after that quest giver

Maj al-Ragath offers a random Pledge for the following Dungeons:
Banished Cells I & II
Darkshade Caverns I & II
Elden Hollow I & II
Fungal Grotto I & II
Spindleclutch I & II
Wayrest Sewers I & II

Gilirion the Redbeard offers a random Pledge for the following Dungeons:
Arx Corinium
Blackheart Haven
Blessed Crucible
City of Ash I & II
Crypt of Hearts I & II
Direfrost
Selene’s Web
Tempest Island
Vaults of Madness
Volenfell

Urgalarg Chief-bane offers a random Pledge for the following Dungeons:
Cradle of Shadows
Imperial City Prison
Ruins of Mazzatun
White-Gold Tower

When you hover over the chest it'll say the name. I believe the middle one is Urgalarg's chest.. so you'll only get shoulders from one of those 4 dungeon monster sets if you open the middle chest

Also, if you're on PC, there's the addon "Itemization Browser" which shows a list of all sets in the game, their effects and where to find them (including which Undaunted chest).

You know what is cool? Not scrolling down and seeing that the top part has the left and right chests reversed. I had 20 keys ready for champion 160, couldn't figure out why I couldn't get those Fungal Grotto shoulders...

Does these Chests only offer Shoulders and if I want the helmet I should do Veteran Dungeon of that specific set?

chests only drop shoulders and helms drop only from last bosses in vet dungeons. There is a note on a post at the enclave that lists which dungeons are given by which NPC so you can check in-game which chest drops which shoulde.[

You won't get a complete set, but mismatched parts instead. You can open chests at any time if you have a key to get one of the shoulders in that specific chest.

Yup it truly is a gamble, I had 7 keys and wanted grothdar but got everything except that.

@damarky @Anastasiel Literally just imagine that all DLC dungeons drop from the middle chest. The side chests with the base game dungeons are still exactly the same
