Gamepad using map while running

Is there any way to change the map cursor movement to the right joystick in the map mode. I am not able to view the map while using my mount or running because the left joystick controls forward movement and so the cursor just runs off the map. The map is usable in the keyboard/mouse interface while running but not with gamepad. This should be an easy fix.

So by the lack of responses I assume that no one using the gamepad ui uses their map while mounted and moving.

I use the AUI addon which (among other things) gives you a minimap which effectively solves the problem.

AUI map addon here too. I set it turn off during combat to save frames. It also helps as a nightblade to know when I can sneak and when I can't.

I use the mini map also but it has a big problem with FPS drops even in Cyrodiil. So I rely mainly on the main map.

The problem with relying on the minimap is you can not see the whole map very easily. It would be nice to have the option to set which stick controls the map cursor. A very easy fix. But like other easy things for the devs to change ion this game I do not expect to see it happen.

You can also set the minmap size and zoom level to fit more in.

You're right that they will not set an option to change stick control. The minimap works great with the proper settings. Good luck.
