Any Solo Play?

Returned to the game and was wondering about solo play, I am at max level with about 200 cp in purple nightmare gear and was wondering what there is to do when friends are not on. I am looking for Non PVP.

Was looking for signature quest lines for loot, mounts or interesting items but so far I have been unsuccessful in finding anything. Tried fishing but after about an hour it tends to get boring.

Any help on what I might be am missing would be appreciated.....

There are no quest lines for loot or mounts, there are memento rewards from a few quests that allow you to use a certain animation, but ultimately serve no real purpose.
I think there is only one quest that even gives a pet, some dwemer spider though I don't recall the quest name at the moment.

Most of the game is in fact single player, all the quests in all the factions, world bosses, dolmens, public dungeons, etc. Just don't expect much in the way of rewards. Some of the story aspects of quests are not too bad though.

It's worth mentioning the DLCs, because some players complain about lack of content and then admit they haven't subscribed or bought the extra content! Bear in mind also the level-scaling with One Tamriel (this Wednesday on PC/Mac, a couple of weeks later on console) that will open up the whole world as 160 cp content including overland combat etc.

veteran maelstrom arena, a solo instance consisting of 9 unique stages that rewards players with best in slot weapons.

it is by far the absolute greatest idea conceived and implemented by ZOS, minus the *** RNG of course.

Thank you for answer the quest stuff, because I was doing quest after quest and the rewards were well nothing, even the little bit of money was senseless because I could steal 1000 times that amount in the same timeframe it took to do the quest.

I kept hoping the quests would lead to an exciting quest chain but nothing did.

Also, for group play is it still farming the undaunted over and over for keys to get gear or has that changed?

Imp City has an ok questline and some dailies I don't mind doing. Area bosses too, also Orsinium has a great questline I thought. TG & DB are more niche tho but good if you like to thieve / assassin. Maelstorm is cool (normal is fun. vet is nails)

Clearing all zones area bosses, group events and delves is a good time burner.

The DLC questlines are great! And ofcourse, if you're up to a massive challenge, try vMSA (or nMSA for the casuals

) in wrothgar.

Wrothgar has a pet and a few cosmetic rewards for various things, and over all is a great zone that is very solo friendly. World bosses require large groups usually but there's always people calling for WB groups in zone chat

Thieves guild and db quest lines are actually really good. The dailies are very hard if non magblade.

Also vma if you want to turn into an eso hater like most of us. It'll destroy your soul.

Thanks for info....when my 3 friends are on what should we be doing....not sure what dungeons to even run, all I know is the undaunted runs....are they still in play?

Next dlc (tomorow) and each zone will have unique sets gained from world bosses, delves, daily quests and treasure zones.

All zones will also be max level and all items will drop at your level.

So you can more or less solo forever for good endgame gear from then on.

Next dlc there will be 3 undaunted quest givers. One has a quest for an easy dungeon like spindle or wayrest. One has a quest for medium difficulty dungeons and one will have a quest for one of the hard dungeons like imp prison.
You can then choose yourself at what level you want to run the dungeon like silver gold or hard mode.

So there will be much more varied group content than now and you can customize it to the skill level of your team.

Also each zone will have world boss quests like in wrothgard and gold coast.

Next dlc is awesome for both levelers, endgame soloers and endgame small group play.

The quests in the alliance areas and in Coldharbour, main quest, mages/fighters guild quests, the DLC quests are all single player. I did them on my main char and did some again on my alts for the skill points and raw XP gain to level skills. I don't really care about CP ATM because I'm way above the current and future cap, but for low CP player those could be a good source. In one Tamriel all quests will level to your level/CP (up to a max of 160) and the XP gain will increase accordingly. I did some in Cadwell's Gold, which is currently scaled to CP160, and they reward between 5-25K XP each. Also there will be new and older BoE sets that will drop in each alliance zone, Coldharbour and Craglorn - some were moved from trials to open world. Also beginning in mid October there will be Halloweent involving a quest and different items. So there's plenty of single player activity even if you don't own any DLCs.
