Resistance Cap Limit?

I have tank with around 35K resistance, i can take it up to 40K.

I want to know if there is a resistance cap limt?

Please explain, In case If i should not go with more resistance

Yeah I'm pretty sure you don't benefit at all from resistance going over 33k as it hard caps there. But it might've changed over time so I'm not entirely sure.

Anything over the cap will help against debuffs.

he means it maxes at 50% damage mitigation which is around 33k.

However if you plan to run vet trials and such sometimes being at cap and using buffs that put you over cap is still useful as there are bosses that can hit you with debuffs, and your higher resist will still keep you at the cap when debuffed.

though pouring extra resources into it to get that is not worth doing as they can be more effectively used elsewhere. It is better to stop at the cap and let armor sets or buffs take you over it if you go over.
