Hello, everyone. Welcome to October!

I have decided that, on the day OneTamriel launches, I will return to ESO and play it.

Until then, I'm hanging out on the forums getting ready.


This thread is a hangout thread for today's maintenance. Feel free to discuss whatever you like...or just vent. It's all up to you.

To get the discussion started, I'll include a video. This past summer, Fall Out Boy (aka FOB) collaborated with the Ghostbusters remake and Missy Elliott to create a new Ghostbusters theme song. The song had mixed reactions. Judge this video for yourself:

Every time I see Fall Out Boy it makes me think of Fallout 4. Which naturally makes me think of Bethesda. And then of course that thought is followed by Elder Scrolls and the Elder Scrolls Online.

Well I made it through a minute of that song so that counts as perseverance for me.

Fall Out Boy was not a good choice for a remake of Ghostbusters theme song.

However, I also heard the remake movie did horribly at the box office. As it should.

Hollywood is just getting way too lazy with all these remakes. It makes you wonder if they even have any creative writers left.

Instead of remaking old movies why don't they just use books from the bestsellers list?

Speaking of books... I wonder when the movie based on the new Harry Potter book is coming out. You know there will be one.

They do...quite frequently...and about 90% of them are horrendous. Very few are close enough to the books to satiate readers...and only a rare few are as good (or perhaps better) than the book.

Fight Club is a perfect example of a solid book to movie conversion.

On the flip side, Cell was a great Stephen King novel...the movie was a disaster.

I don't think someone who listens to Fall Out Boy should probably join a Fight Club. Just sayin'.

When is this downtime happening? These weird cacti I ate made the clock impossible to read. Tell it to me in number of minutes from now.
