The fastest way out of Cyrodiil/IC should not be to die or teleport to your alt campaign.
In both situations an elegant, in game method should be provided. It just feels sloppy and unfinished otherwise. I agree that a "recall from dungeon" option would be better for the former and a "transport to alliance home gates" option would be better for the latter. Neither should be faster than the current options but they would feel a bit more legitimate.

No. most dungeons will put you outside in the location of the dungeon. Except normal dungeons. It won't put you in a silver or gold zone if your not leveled yet.I thought that leaving through the dungeon exit door put you back where you came from... does that not work for all dungeons?

Fastest way out of IC, travel to a player in a guild on same alliance and not in Cyro or IC and you're out, it's the safest way to bank KKKKKK's of stones without fear of ambush.
