Question about BOP after patch

Will the items you currently have that are BOE NOW that dropped BEFORE 1 tamriel STAY BOE.....or will they all become bound??

I do believe it'll be retroactively turned into BOP. Or else the market will be flooded with a bunch of gear selling for 1 million gold a piece.

If the character copy to PTS was an accurate indication, I can say that all my BoE Warlock gear stayed BoE, even though new drops from Selenes Web on PTS were BoP.

I also compared a CP 160 legendary Ebon Necklace on live (BoE) to the same Ebon Necklace on PTS (BoP), and they had different internal ID numbers in the links.

I think it's a fair assumption that nothing will be retroactively turned BoP.

However, there has been no confirmation on this point from ZOS, so YMMV.

As for whether the "market will be flooded with a bunch of gear selling for 1 million gold a piece", I doubt it. A flooded market means a competitive market.

Plus, keep in mind that the old BoE trials sets will be available on the golden vendor. People are more likely to wait and see if the set they want comes up for 250k a piece.

Almost all the trial set minus VO, Alkosh, and the others that were already BOP are still BOP.

The other sets like sun, neco, dragon etc. are moving to overland sets and still still BOE.

im using my port to pts as an example and the fact my ported skoria helm had the original stats instead of the new pts stats upu have to assume the changes on effect from the point of introduction
