Speaking of rude people in pugs, it is and will always be like this. There's always people that would abuse any of the game's features. If you want to minimize the chances of this happening, join a guild or play with friends.

No problem if it is voluntary, but I have never seen such case in the game. Probably there should be vote on disband (F - agree, E - disagree).

You've never seen a group disbanding just to reset the instance and restart it, regrouping straight away ? Lucky you, you've never done much gear hunting ;-)
We also used it all the time back in the (not that old days) when deaths in trials and VDSA were limited to 12/24/100. It's irrelevant now but it used to be extremely relevant. Practising a trial required the whole group to restart several times during the evening due to deaths (or better said, rezz) limitations.
While I am all for respect and taking everyone's opinion into consideration, I don't think the game should implement voting systems all over the place. If you need that, then you're not running with the right people. Get yourself a guild or a group of friends and you won't need to vote at all.

I would disagree with calling the disband functionality "irrelevant". My group spent a few hours last night disbanding and regrouping every 10-15 minutes since we're going for no-death runs.
Disband is a really useful feature, especially combined with addons such as Auto Regroup.
If it makes you feel any better, when you use the dungeon finder the disband functionality dissapears. Group leader can only leave.

Sorry, this is place where it exactly hit me, so I do not understand your comment. Random normal -> nICP or nWGT-> group disband even before I moved to dungeon.
