Finally got another destruction staff. It's not inferno like my other one, and it's not sharpened either. But damn it, I don't care. Half of my magicka characters utilize staves, and the other dual-wield swords. I'm so happy and satisfied I could cry. Got myself an ice staff and an inferno staff, bruh. I'm eating good out here. ^_^

Edit:
I'm going to try out that 5pcs. ice-oriented set that drops in VMA now. See what'a about with my MagSorc, although I doubt it'll compare to my Necropotence build.

    Hey congrats!

    Playing an ice mage is super fun, I very much enjoy mine. There are some new ice-oriented sets coming with One Tamriel but imo they need some tweaking to make me give up on my Winterborn pieces (especially after I took so long to drop them).
    Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.

    Meet my characters:
    Command: Do the thing.

    Zadarri, Khajiit Fist of Thalmor: The thing was done, as commanded.
    Durza gra-Maghul, Orc blacksmith: The thing was done perfectly, in the most efficient way.
    Tegwen, Bosmer troublemaker: You can't prove I didn't do the thing.
    Sings-Many-Songs, Argonian fisher: Sure, I'll do the thing... Eventually. Maybe.
    Aerindel, Altmer stormcaller: After extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that doing the thing would be a waste of resources.
    Liliel, Dunmer pyromancer: Aerindel said I shouldn't do the thing. Something about "resources".
    Gyda Snowcaller, Nord cryomancer: I will find a way to do it that won't waste resources and make Aerindel proud of me.
    Beatrice Leoriane, Breton vampire: I persuaded someone else into doing the thing. You are welcome, dear.
    Sahima, Redguard performer: Doing the thing sounds awfully unpleasant and really not my problem.
    Ellaria Valerius, Imperial priestess: I'll pray to the Eight for the thing to be done, if it is Their will.

    Well, I always say the same when I get something which is not powered/charged, and also not sharpened/precise. But I always go back to this horrible place after some time to try my luck again and get another charged weapon to my collection...

    Tbh the "best" weapons I've got from there so far are defending resto staff and nirnhoned dagger :lol:

    Btw I've never got anything sharpened/precise so as long as I don't get one, I won't believe these actually drop from vMA ;)

    Since SotH launched, I've gotten 4 or 5 sharpened weapons from VMA. Unfortunately all stamina-based, thus leading to their immediate deconstruction (I made threads about some of these drops too). I had all sharpened Maelstrom stamina weapons since pre-DB, so I'd get extremely irritated whenever a sharpened axe or bow would drop for me.

    Infused isn't that bad if you use woe. My magdk rocks an infused lit staff and lights everything up with it. Kongrats.

    Good on ya, I've only just passed Rd5, up to my neck in potion and repair kit debt. Housing? Man if I had one id have defaulted on the mortgage by now and be living rough anyway. I'm in Groundhog day hell, but addicted.

    On a back bar when going double let destro, not being sharpened isn't the end of the world. You only swap thee for buffs and woe so spend like 5% of your time there.

    By the way, I did some testing with the ice set I was mentioning earlier. It's called Winterborn, and works quite nicely with the new staff. I have all the pieces of the set in divines and infused, so gearing wasn't hard in the slightest. Now I just have to wait for the new ice 2pcs. coming along, and hope ZOS gives more frost/ice support for magicka builds.

    Ice heart insanely Dissapointing. Only does damage when the shield is up which will last about 1s. The new ulti could be good though. It's got a lot of hate atm but I reckon zos will buff it for launch.

    Pretty high numbers actually. I haven't found a means to keep 100% uptime with it, but it does proc quite frequently for me. I love it, to be honest. And while Necropotence feels superior, I still like it a lot.

    Lol. Thanks. But yeah dude, I have more than enough stamina Maelstrom weapons in precise and sharpened. Way more than enough, hence anymore extras being deconstructed immediately.
