What is the skill that puts golden/fire chains around enemies linking them together?

I saw this for the first time whilst taking a keep at the weekend, I was with 1 other person and there was also an enemy player inside the keep.
I attacked the guards around the flag and golden chains formed around them linking them to each other, I think that my attacks also dealt damage to all 4 guards at the same time, but I cant be sure.
At one point the chain extended out to a guard in another part of the keep too.
It looked amazing! The chains were twisting and, turning, sort of writhing whilst giving off a fiery glow and they were sort of transparent too..
Does anyone know what this was?

Seriously it was amazing, I don't remember activating the synergy, but maybe I did just because it was offered.
If you can imagine flame-like chains writhing like snakes and entwined around all 4 guards at the flag, then that would be a good impression.
I'm not sure what the extended chain thing was but it did shoot out to a guard near the postern door, it didn't seem to pull him in but I was a bit occupied at the time.
I had wondered if the enemy in the keep had added the chains to reinforce the guards, and also some of the guards are very clever and better players than some real people so maybe they added a reinforcement??

Maybe someone to can try the standard synergy and record it? I NEED to see this again

Sounds like the synergy to a DK standard.

Maybe the guards learned how to use use Guard? Haven't seen this before. Are you sure the healers weren't all just healing each other?

I never have too much faith in the reports of an eye whitness
It definately sounds like Dragonknight standard, yet the extending chain wouldn't support this theory.
