Witches Festival

I was wondering if a release date has been announced for the "Witches Festival" ?? I know calendar wise its supposed to start on the Frost Fall which is October 13th, a Thursday this year. Since new content usually comes out on Tuesday, would that mean the Witches Festival is coming out on October 11th ??

On Xbox One there is a temporary achievement available for "Collecting 100 plunder skulls during the witches festival". It says that it starts from 14th of October and runs until the 2nd of November.

Why would come out on 11th make no sense at all to be honest. If you have play WoW you know there event will start at right date no matter what and it will be on for whole week and ZoS could easy do same it is just small update the need to send out to active event. What im wonder whole long will the event be run will be for whole week or just few days?

From what I've gathered... you obtain an item via crown store (like xp cake) doesn't cost any crowns.

This item gives you a chance to obtain a plunder skull from bosses in delves, dungeons, trials, anything with a boss, I'd assume has a chance at dropping the skull.

Said skull will have random loot in each one, the motif pages have a small drop chance in each skull.

Anyone feel free to correct me, that's just what I've pieced together.

The assets were added to the game with update 11 (the base game update that was done at the same time as Shadows of the Hist DLC) so you should be good to go whenever it starts

Hadn't thought of that, but my guess is they won't activate the event until it's released on all platforms.

Actually, now that I recall, the Grim Harlequin and Hollowjack styles aren't on the list of available crafting styles in the UI currently on Live, but they are on PTS. This leads me to lean heavily towards the event not starting until One Tamriel has gone live on all platforms, otherwise ZOS would have to waste an update just to get those two motifs to show in the UI. That is assuming this isn't something they can hotfix without pushing an update. But yes, in the event they end up not pushing One Tamriel before the holiday event, your best bet is probably going into veteran areas, coldharbour, or seeing if it works on dungeon bosses if you're a max level character.

I'm pretty sure that just means that for console part of the Witches Festival will be pre-One Tamriel, and part will be post-One Tamriel. I think the dates that it runs are the same for everyone.
