People keep trying to get Nightblade class Nerf more but in reality Templars have taken over it's ridiculous how they can spam heals with no cool down and not mention the Jesus beam from across the map Templars should be Nerf ! All I see is hordes of Templars

The class purge needs to go. I find it funny that cloak was op because it purged dots so it got nerfed, but they added an ability that purges dots. That's my main complaint with the class

I would agree, but it's alot easier to get through a sorcs shield than it is to get pass a Templars heals. Especially if they are playing passively, this may be because most templars are wearing heavy armor s&b now, but templars can't stay like this forever something needs to change

Stam sorcs are the meta, but i do agree with @thankyourat, we nightblades lost our cloak purge, templars also need to lose their purge or at least you should not be able to purge ultimates.

How are stamina Sorcerers any stronger than other stamina classes?

Purify has always purged just like the Alliance war skill has always purged. The difference was that cloak was both a purge and hid the person. Although personally I never had a problem with that I can image a DK DoT build would have problems with it.

OP so many threads on how to fight Temps.

Efficient purge <mages guild tree> is equally used by magplars.
Efficient purge, purges and gives 10% increase in magicka for slotting it. Magplars have resource problems.

Downplaying the NB/stam Sorc Fengrush meta of stacking Hundings/Kena/Alchemist and bursting tanks through block in under 3 seconds with Ambush/Surprise/Incapacitating/Executioner, and calling for nerfs to Templars... why?

Because they survive too long.

Can we maybe think or ways to increase NB survivability that don't homogenize class lore and stop calling for nerfs every time we fail to kill our target out of sneak in the opening salvo?

I see far more nightblades than any other class. In fact sometimes it feels like there are more nightblade than all the other classes combined in a small scale battle.

You wanna know why he probably never sees nightblades? It's probably bcz he's a stealthed nightblade ganker. No 1 sees a nightblades until they get ganked.

Specifically what aspect of templars dont you like?

They are hard to kill. That's bcz heavy armor is viable and most Templars gave up on chasing DPS.

They heal. If Im healing I'm wasting precious magicka not attacking. templars don't have any passives for resource management. Also in big groups I'm not even guaranteed to heal myself. The range is soo big that my teammates will steal my heals.

Jesus beam. Somebody else has to get an opponent to 40% health for it to start being scary. Above 50% I get tics for 1.5k. Below 50% I get tics for 3.5 k. Below 30% I get tics for 7k. Vigor gives people tics for 6k. So vigor rally at around 40% health like everyone else does. Plus the beam can be air bashed off. You don't even have to bash the caster. I just used up 1/3rd of my magicka firing it off just to have someone waste barely any stamina bashing it off.

They have a class purge. I don't even use that one. To cleanse leaves a big glowing circle on the ground for 18 seconds saying here i am gankers, come and get it. I use supports purge. Passively getting 10% increase in magicka regen is important for templars. Again we have resource management problems. Also once used I don't leave any evidence that I was there.

We have access to Major mending. That means we have to use to 2 skill slots. 1 for the rune or cleanse and 1 for the heal. See above about our class cleanse. I have to compromise a precious skill spot. It can turn my templar from being able to slot Elusive mist(for mobility) or javelin (for CC) or vampires bane (for snare and big DoT) to basically a heal bot all for 20% more healing.

Did I miss anything?

No I'm calling Templar out on their bull and one doesn't simple doesn't die to a Templar you get nuke WIth about 10 Jesus beams while fighting another player from pugs in the back of the zerg
