Enemy NPC's don't spawn in trails

I have this problem when I am trials that enemies don't spawn for the entirety of battle (reloading ui or logging out and in doesn't change it). The strange thing is that it only happens in trails and not for example in 12+ player groups in Cyrodiil during sieges, I handle that just fine. Also when I enter a trial, the first two or three mobs do actually spawn, but from there it's all invisible. I also notice major ping increase and FPS drops during fights, which is also something that barely happens in big PvP raids. My laptop is by no means great, but if it runs other instances just fine, why not this?
