I would like it if the fiery breath's animation will a continues effect to put in DoTs on enemies. The skill is a one time only no channel of it or anything. The skill is useful but sometimes you won't hit all your targets and sometimes it does. Im sure it won't be op is that if the enemy gets hit by the effect and the next enemy comes at you they will have the same effect it just depends on how long the animation last but this won't effect on the same target you just use that skill on so it would be balanced. If this idea is great to people who read this I been on my DK since the start of console release so I have my time in the game so.

    It would be nice if the ability hit like 3 times in one use, and the DoT applied from the last hit. Frankly, the initial damage is considerably low and making it hit a few times, sort of like with Jabs/Sweeps, but not make it OP.

    Yea Jabs is burst and sweeps as well. So Why not? It would be a nice to hit more targets than ones in front of you. And it could get cleanse either way in PvP so its balanced if it makes it like that.

    You know how you can use Fiery Breath and spin around and it looks like you're flamethrowing everything around you? Well that doesn't actually happen and damage only applies to enemies in the path of fire upon casting, so the flames thereafter are entirely visual graphics and do nothing. He basically wants the flames to inflict damage the ENTIRE TIME rather than upon cast, ie those "visual graphics" not be JUST "visual graphics".

    So he has a Insta skill he can instantly cancel and get full damage with no penalty so long as the target are in the initial cone and instead wants a skill with a channel or minimum cast time but allows for movement of the cone?

    If I understood correctly I guess different strokes for different folks but give me the insta cast variety every time.

    As anyone familiar with cancelling knows you could still cancel out of something like that mid-use. As it stands now cancelling out of it is the ONLY way to make it continuous, and even then it still has lackluster direct damage. At least if it hit multiple times it would have decent direct damage.

    Yea it would help with resource management on Dks as well so either pick an insta cone or a cone the keeps going till the animation ends of the fire or poison.

    Umm maybe I have been imagining things but I always do a sweep with breath and it seems to apply to everything hit when I drag it along

    It usually hits whatever is in a cone targeting area in front of where you start the attack from and does not hit anything outside that target zone if you turn to breathe fire another direction. If it happens to hit targets after you turn not originally in the initial target zone then it hasn't been for me...
