The only correct answer for PvE dps and healers is thief. Nothing else comes close. One could make and agreement for apprentice and warrior for PvP but for PvE thief is too good. When I get into a dungeon and the dps does not have this mundas, I start to question there performance. Now of course you can still do good with out it but most dps and healer builds need it.

Now tanking, that is another thing, I use atronach. For more igneous and chains. And of course that leads to more stam. Stam regen on a dk tank at least is a dead stat.

When you are already pulling 5k weapon damage like i am, 200 more is not going to change anything.... but when i have 12% more damage when i crit with shadow, my criticals are going to hit like a truck.

Shadow and Thief, crits do about 2% more damage with the shadow than crits with the warrior, and hitting with a crit 70% of the time means 7 out of 10 hits are doing more damage than if it was just warrior. Its a close one though.

Honestly I'm surprised to not see more with the warrior, I always knew the thief and shadow were the most common for Stam dps but still just surprising to see a quite lopsided response.

In PvE, I already rock 85% crit on my Stamina Nightblade, so essentially it is rare for me to get a non-critical hit.
In PvP, as I use Khajiit, I need the extra damage multiplier to neutralize some of the crit resistance of my enemies to get maximum use of my racial passives.

I struggle to decide on which one of warrior or shadow honestly. And at the end of the day 2% extra on crits only, and less on every other makes me generally prefer the warrior. It just seems like 220 extra ALL the time, instead of 240 extra 66% of the time seems like warrior should be the better option.

But the elite build poster guys have run the numbers and reckon shadow is better for average increase in DPS if crits higher than 60%

For dps thief hands down is best. Add shadow if using TBS.

For healing atro for magika recover is good

For tanking it depends on the build. Since it was suggested I've enjoyed using atro on my stam DK since we have many good kills that require magika.

My dps have all been picking up Thief. I use Ritual on my healers. Anecdotally, keeping players topped off feels easier with Ritual, and I have no problems burst healing someone from 5-100%.

I have one character using Mage and one using tower. Mainly because I like to see how high I can stack those stats.

My Tank is still using Lady from leveling up, wondering what would be a good replacement there.

My martial arts cat is using warrior, to counter act the lack of weapons damage.
