Used the group finder to do my random normal.... Leader disbands the group and I get penalized

As a paid ESO plus member I think I'm entitled to know exactly when are you guys going to fix this bug so that us players do not get the 14 mins penalty for the leader disbandment of the group?

Failure to respond will result in me forgetting to pay my 180 day ESO plus membership on December 12, 2016 for $77.94 that you're charging me.

It's not a bug.

As soon as you join a group the 15 minute timer starts. If you search the forums you find a plethora posts about this. Myself included has started one.

If this isn't' a bug then it's a very BAD feature that needs to be removed.

The 15 minutes penalty should only apply to people, who leave the group!!!


1. not to the other people when the leader disbands the group
2. not to people, who get kicked from the group by group leader!!!

The crappy part is if you run the Silver with a good geared group you can finish it in under 15 minutes. So you finish it and still have to wait about 5 minutes.

Minimum first fix is that if its under 3 minutes since you entered the dungeon or you haven't even entered the dungeon or dungeon complete = no timer.

My favorite is when you've found a group, but it won't let you "jump to instance" or you get a group of more than 4 players. A buggy group finder is a perfectly valid reason to make someone wait for 15 minutes until the can get back into the buggy group finder.

I would venture to guess that it WAS indeed a bug. Three times now I've started a group manually and put us in queue for the rest, and suddenly the group disbanded and the other members got a message that I had disbanded it (which I did not). Chalk it up to the super buggy, don't use it unless you have a fully-formed group, dungeon finder.

You might as well cancel because they won't respond.....

It must be a bug as I didn't think the group leader could disband the group anymore, individuals have to leave the group. As already said, if you are disbanded or are kicked out of a group for any reason you should not have to pay the penalty.
