Gear become broken when getting exp! lol

i just figured out interesting mechanic, my groupmate didnt participate in the fights for a long time, im grinding around and he getting exp
he was dead all this time
and his gear become completely broken after some time, (when he was killed he was like 90% on every piece)

Yeah your gear takes durability damage from xp not actual damage. Otherwise tanks would have more repair costs and healers would have less.PC | EU

✭✭✭✭✭I have three Mules that do nothing but Provisioning Writs, their armor is completely wrecked.
Also, repair costs can be tricky as when you go to the Merchant, your being quoted on Repairing everything in your inventory, not just what you have equipped.Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

Better dress the writs mules naked then -

Lol, I actually do this. Whenever it is that I am turning in writs, I completely strip my characters of all their gear (but jewelry and weapons). These are dark times we are living in, and times are costly and hard. You gotta "get it how you live" nowadays, and be cautious of every minor detail involving funds.
