Making a open ended poll, Do you guys think Master weapons should be buffed or not. Is creating an obvious across the board ultimate weapon good for the game?

    I'd be careful about asking the devs to look at these weapons. I have a feeling you'd see a nerf to Maelstrom dagger and axe before seeing buffs anywhere else. The power increase of those 2 weapons is far beyond what others can do.

    the maelstrom weapons (at least the dual/flurry ones) SHOULD be nerfed. Somewhat at least. The others are somewhat balanced against the master variants so should be left alone.

    I still think the enchants should remain as they are, just adjusted so that they are not light years ahead of all the others (or any other possible combo of weapons)

    Yeah, I agree with you. Seems that Maelstrom daggers is everyone talks about, when was the last time you heard "Man that Maelstrom Bow made my dreams come true, I'm Vollying people to death!". lol.

    Buff the enchantents of Master Weapons
    Master destro staves, master daggers and master greatsword are all *** enchants that are outclassed by the New 5 piece bonuses coming out in one tamriel. You would wear 5 piece of a set + 2 Monster + another 4/5 piece rather than wear 3 accessory and a master destro stave or DW master daggers/ greatsword. That's a problem when overland sets are stronger than something as epic as master weapons.

    All master weapons should be as game changing for a build as masters sword or bow but not stronger than vMA weapons.

    You have a great point, even though I disagree that the Master Weapons should be inferior than VetMA. My argument remains that each player should not be forced into any type of content in particular; for example if a player excels in group play and know how to combo their skills with teammates then that player would excel in Vet Dragonstar, then for a player that excels in a solo environment has great damage, sustain, and healing, then they will excel in VMA. Not every player will be great in all roles. Additionally a player that excels in VMA might do horribly in VDA. It's great when an MMO has options for end game weapons, besides always being one or 2 obvious choices.

    The vMA shield definitely needs some work. Its own unique enchant would be a good start.

    I'm thinking a special enchantment that increases block mitigation further 5-8%, that might work.

    Master sword? Kinda resto? Kinda other 1H, which unfortunately gets outclassed simply because the Maelstrom ones are ridiculous?

    missed it, also comparable but only for stam dps in group :p but what then further? we have 7 different weapon types and only 2 can be comparable + in master duals you have only dagger while from maelstrom you can have axes and maces also

    I am a stam dk using maelstrom dual wield and I got out dps'd by a mag nb with master fire destro. And apparently the gap will be even bigger next patch, so please nerf Master destro thanks.

    I find it sad that these weapons wich are BiS by all accounts are only available to ppl who do pve. Myself im a pvper through and through, but I can partake in the odd pve here and there, but not maelstrom or veteran arena this or that. The kind of pve where you have to do this and that at this and that time or you die no matter what just aint fun...pvp on the other hand, makes sense and I like it (apart from the odd unbalance here and there). There is no special mechanic you have to make sure you do to progress, you just enjoy combat with your preferred setup.

    Worst case scenario:

    They rebalance all the weapons out to a satisfactory point, and then they create a third arena with a whole new set of OP weapons.

    Don't like the buff this/nerf that mentality of this poll. Individual weapons need tuning.
