Increase the drop rate of purple stolen items

Greetings again Walkers.

This is the One Khajiit Crime Wave again speaking about buffs for thievery and a few questions regarding changes in the next update.

So as many of the walkers in Tamriel know, this humble Khajiit wishes for the limit on the number of items which can be fenced to be increased so that those who wish to acquire to their hearts content can do so without being impeded by a limit on what good they can sell each day...

This thread though is to request that the drop rate of purple stolen items is looked at and possibly increased, as this one has only ever had the pleasure of receiving 1 purple item to sell in all of the items that this one has acquired.

This one supposes that this question is twofold.

1. How many purple stolen items have you pickpocketed in your time in the game?

and

2. Where do your opinions lie on increasing the drop rates of these items? And the increase/removal of fencing limits?

I think I only ever got 3. I started stealing last October in Elden Root, over and over everyday for 2-3 months (needed lots of gold for reasons). Only got 2 purple items (though I did get an Imperial Motif once which was cool). Then again in Elden Root last May I think I started stealing again for a few weeks. Got 1 purple. Didn't ZOS claim they increased the drop rate around the time they changed the value of stolen items though? Didn't see any difference personally.

EDIT: to clarify, I am talking about purple items, not motifs, I actually used to find purple motifs quite frequently.

Would have to agree, purple rare stolen items are hard to come by. Increase the drop rate plz zos

done achiev for get 1m gold by selling stolen items, doing all, pickpocketing, opening chests, much and searching in containers like crates, trunks, wardrobes etc, got maybe oly 4-5 purple items

More importantly if anyone finds the yarn could they let this one know where they found it?

Khajiit she has looked high and less high but suspects it may be found only in an area in which khajiit she does not often work. Possibly somewhere with elves ...

Khajiit shall ask the Green Speakers to add 'Santie's Yarn' as an item which can be acquired in the game.

I have never pick pocketed a purple, but on my ledgerderman 20 characters if I steal I get usually one a week to two ish or just over. so say based on limit of selling rate that means 1 every 770 to 1400 so yes I think a buff would be good there at least for those at ledgerderman 20 as we are doing it, just because to get that I'm not stealing of racks I'm in buildings, rummaging through things which takes a while too. I get lots more purple killing things.

The fence rate is silly, maybe if it applied to each zone like DC,EP,AD I mean they are at war no time to pass notes on thievery. Maybe if you get to ledgerderman 20 that could be a thing. The amount in each zone or a higher amount. I get there has to be a limit in general though, because I had money before my friends when this game started. I was more fortunate as a lot of things fell into my pockets. So all for a limit but currently it's rather low,for a high end thief.

I've gotten the sell 1m gold worth of items to a fence achievement on 5 different characters and I think I've gotten less than 10 purples

Khajiit recalls when the next update it comes that those with the higher ledgi ... ledger ... collecting skills will have a higher chance of getting better loot.

When you say purple items, is style books included then? Because if so, I have found 20 easily.. Only ever seen 2 yellow though, not counting Thieves Guild collectables

Can motifs even be looted anymore? Back before the crown store I used to find a lot in random chests and I haven't come across one in forever now.

Wow, I think I have found 5 Purples ever. Leveled most characters to max in Legerdemain too.

Note, I have found 3 or 4 Purple Motifs that were stolen, but I don't count those the same way as the ones that you Launder for 1500 gold.

Not style books. The purple items this one refers to is the items you 'acquire' via pickpocketing and looting 'safe' boxes etc.

Usually they are weirdly named items which you then fence.

Motif books need a lower drop rate for the original ones to make them worth more again.

About the same for me, maybe 1 or 2 more. However, I do not believe the rate is in need of an increase. When Player Housing comes we will be able to decorate with this kind of stuff so it'd be more worth showing off if it stays this rare.

P.S. I don't think I've ever gotten a purple from Pickpocketing, if so maybe one. Got one from a Blade of Woe kill though

I have not really kept a count of the purple drops I've gotten though larceny. I have gotten the 1 million gold and all of the justice achievements except the ones for getting caught wearing stolen clothing. I have received at least 10-15 out of lockboxs and probably at least 10 purple recipes. Pickpocketing, though has yielded many fewer purple drops, probably no more than 2 or 3.

With 2 accounts, and a total of 15 characters, I've seen maybe 4 purple items....One was today, a Daedric motif book. Pickings seem rather slim.

Since launch I've found 5 imperial motifs,which is more than the amount of purple items I've found.

For those unaware OP is talking about the purple treasures you can fence for 1,500 Gold. Motifs are easy enough to find lol

Indeed. This one could build a house out of all the Ancient Elf motifs that humble Khajiit has found

Over my whole thieving career in ESO (and bearing in mind that my main character has the super-fencing achievement for one million gold made), I only ever looted 3 purple justice system items.

I'd love to see this boosted a bit, maybe to the same ratio as getting purple drops from random mobs killed when adventuring.

Personally I don't find that drop rate all that different from this one lol if anything it's a bit higher, but I stand by my stance at not raising it so they contain more bragging rights when displayed in houses.

Maybe not boosted to this amount. This one still wants the drops to be rare, but not so rare that walkers believe they are mythical.
