Should Valkyn Skoria 1 piece give spell damage to bring it more in line with Velidreth?

Considering that there is no undaunted set other than Kena that gives spell damage one piece (this is not including the new sets as I am not sure if one of those does), I think it's only fair and makes sense for this one to do that.

Prefer max stat to SP any day. Makes for more specific builds by boosting shield strength on light armor builds with minimal damage loss. @Aerem

There is no issue with Velidreth's 1-piece bonus. The issue here is that there are no 1-piece Spell damage bonuses to match with Kena, as Kena is to Velidreth.

Velidreth's 2-piece is simply OP as heck with nearly every "good" Stam build running it in PvP or PvE. Def needs to be nerfed.

Good thing ZOS is logical though and looked at it for next patch! ....then decided to buff it

You should tell that to the stam DK that got a 582k VMA score with veli.

Edit: on topic, I do like the health. It keeps my Breton magplar at 18k with no invested attributes, so actually contributes to more max magicka.

No. Skoria is undodgeable whereas Velidreth at least is dodgeable. Granted this is much more difficult when not at range but you get my point.

skoria is getting a really good buff next patch, adding even more buffs to it doesn't really make sense. Max Health is not a bad bonus on it anyway and its going to be doing significantly more damage it seems from PTS.

Skoria is balanced compared to other magicka sets. If you add sd to it additional to the buff it's getting next patch, you just push sets like neriene'th towards uselessness.

I disagree with how "f'in awesome" the changes are.
They "doubled" the damage and doubled the cooldown time (now a 10sec CD). Velidreth still hits harder, and has a higher chance to proc (not a 6% chance on DoT damage). I should also mention Velidreth will have a 9 second CD.
