Thieves Guild Heist quest appears bugged. If you go into crouch mode, sometimes you cannot see the blue ring around the NPC's using torches... Anyone else experienced it?

    Yes, it is a known bug. Have you tried un-crouching and crouching again?

    It solves the problem for me. Just remember you should un-crouching far enough from the NPC, otherwise you will get caught.

    Still happening to me (has been that way for ages), and yes, the uncrouch/crouch solution works fine...*when* I remember to do it (sigh).

    Some of the npcs carry torches but they in fact do not have the circle and will not detect you if in stealth. There are two kinds in heists. Iirc if they glow red then they will not break cloak if they glow white then they will have a circle.
