Forward Camp Placement

I understand there's a pretty good split amongst players concerning the reintroduction of forward camps and whether it aids or hinders pvp play...

I'm just wondering why some people place the camps on resource flags instead of on the top floor of resource towers...

Speed, and also the NPCs defend it for you. If you lose it chances are high that the flag has been turned anyway, which means your camp will go away from on top of the tower anyway.

thanks for explaining...the reason I asked was because I've stood on the second floor of a resource tower watching camps burn...usually we may get about 4 or 5 people inside the tower, but there's probably another half dozen or so that don't make it inside...

I figured there must be a reason for placing camps on the resource flag...

@fastolfv_ESO ...now that makes sense...kinda like the whole "get off the flag" thing when you have 20 enemy hold up in a resource tower, and you need to siege them out...

oh well, w/o any tower doors it may not really matter much anymore...

one good reason pugs go for tower roofs to place siege, so you sit there yelling at some guy to move his stuff while he says make me, in the end you settle for the flag
