You want puryfying Ritual instead of Retribution. The damage it does on stam is low so you want to remove more effects as you can't spawn it.

I'd put that in instead of immovable. Dawnbreaker of smiting as front bar ultimate.

Everything else seems fine. Although personally, I have vigor and rally in the same slot on different bars, so if bar swap fails due to lag, you'll get some kind of heal.

I agree... I haven't really noticed poison damage being too significant. Ranged fights are still difficult for me, though. When I'm in a fight, I transform as soon as werewolf is ready... (I know this is a stamplar thread and here I am talking about a build that spends as little time as a stamplar as possible.) ☺

I really love the werewolf toolkit, I use the following morphs:
Feral pounce - gap closer extends werewolf timer
Hircine rage - decent heal with 15000+ magicka (use purple food), damage buff too
Rousing roar - Fear! ...and major brutality
Howl of agony - This is like an instant cast, pre-nerf wrecking blow
Claws of anguish - tough choice between these morphs... but in PvP, the aoe major defile is nice.

You could definitely drop javelin for reverb bash

why do you use vigor? rune focus and immovable don't stack (someone had to tell me that :) )...since you"re stamina - I'd go with immovable...

what do you use for ranged combat?

you probably already know - but, you have to select no for questioned answered- otherwise your thread will reflect that your question was answered...

oh yeah, you may want to squeeze in either dark Flare or radiant oppression...

I'm definitely the wrong person to know numbers (and facts :o )...it just seems that because you're a templar - you already have the best heals in the game...I have a buddy that used to use a resto staff on his templar - it used to freak me out :# ...I know I drove him crazy talking about it all the time...

I don't know - different strokes, different folks - i think it's real convenient: pvp, world bosses, chasing down whatever player bounty you have in cyro - to be able to reach out and touch someone from range...kinda like getting to know someone, before for you get all up close and personal with your melee...

the campaign I play in has nothing but locusts'...if i didn't have a ranged weapon on one of my bars - i might never get any kills...

He is a stamina Templar. Templar class heals only work if you spec into magicka. You can still cast them, but they will do extremely weak healing and you will use up almost your entire magicka bar with one heal.

I have a stamplarish type character (level 44 orc) - unbuffed in pve he has 9.4k max mag...lingering ritual costs me 2.5k, heals almost instantly for 2.9k w/ 1k after 8 sec; dark Flare costs 2.1k - on the other bar I have ritual again plus javelin which costs 2.7k...

the solution for this character currently is he wears willows path and drinks purple regen drinks - his resource pool stays full...I haven't really started building up his max stam (it's only 13k) yet, I wanted to get his mag and health set firat...

basically - using magicka for some ranged attacks and my healing allows me to focus my stam on jabbing and ransackiing (one of his bars is SnB; the other lightening staff - luv me some lightening staff :p ) stuff to death...

not just pvp - the whole game...it's like driving a car with all the latest safety features...it can be a real challenge for other stuff to kill you...

you wanna really have some fun with your stamplar - try turning them in to a werewolf...except for zergs - not a lotta other stuff can either catch or kill that type of character...

    what race did you chose?

My only issue with my stamplar is although its super strong, its very black and white and gets a little tiresome after a while.

    Redguard all day

I have a magplarish type character - so, I play them differently...

try the werewolf, change your gear and playstyle a bit...

there's a lot to be said for being able to experiment, and, having a character that's very forgiving while you try out different things...

for me personally, I play six different characters - it's always a joy when the stamplar is up to bat...

can you say - 'I FEEL LIKE A GOLDEN GOD'!!!

that and - "I'm on Drugs" are reason enough to watch Almost Famous :)

This is my werewolf focused stamplar setup.
All heavy, all impen: 5-pc black rose, 5-pc salvation (1h/shield bar), 2-pc blood spawn

    1h/shield
    Biting jabs
    Pierce armor
Trap beast, reverb bash, defensive posture, or repentance (flex spot)
    Invasion
    Vigor
    Werewolf

    2h
    Binding javelin
Caltrops or reverse slice (flex spot)
    Extended ritual
Restoring focus (...instead of shuffle because it costs magicka)
    Rally
    Dawnbreaker of smiting

I would normally recommend Redguard... but I'm using a Breton (tankiness plus magic bonuses are not wasted). I also use purple food - I can practically spam extended ritual and the werewolf heal is stronger.

@brtomkin are there any particular player builds or pve content that give you any trouble...I haven't really found that poison damages me that significantly...

    my stamplar is an orc.

    werewolf for sure.

I set mine up w/ SnB on one bar (just how high an armor rating can I get, plus the extra glyph) and a lightning stick on the other bar...

I spend a lot of time in my campaign on the open battlefield running alongside swarms of locust devouring every enemy player in front of me - without a staff or bow it'd be tough to finish any bounties (solo)...

he's only level 44, but, he has 360cp...I have his health recovery up to 15% - i'm looking to get him up to 20%...I have some more health passives coming my way I think...but, once he turns level 50 I'm going to take off the willows path and put on black rose and dreugh king slayer...he can already engage up to 2 targets (up to about cp380 players) - it's just he can't really finish him...

I use purple regen drinks for all characters - i never want to die from not being able to fire back, my basic pvp strategy is to try to outlast burst builds (which are predominant at the moment)... ;)
