Question to Sorcs

How much does each shield absorb? I took a little break from the game but did they cut them in half? Like by how much damage they can absorb, has it always been that way? I'm looking at mine and they absorb to about 10k to 9k damage each but I thought it used to be higher than that. I have about 44k max magicka

Yea that's what I'm talking about, like has it always been that way in cyrodiil? A lot has changed since I was gone lol

Back around 1.5 I believe Cyrodiil's battle spirit was a 20% reduction, now it's 50%. Only thing I can think of that would cause the change you're describing. That being said your max Magicka can get quite a bit higher now.

Yeah ward strength is reduced by 50% by battle spirit, as others have said. Just remember that Hardy, Elemental Defender and Thick Skinned cp trees apply to your ward aswel as your character. So with these trees maxed out your ward would take 25% less damage. Better to invest more points here than in Bastion, especially now the duration is only 6s.
