Of course since yo can literally be "married" to multiple players this could get tricky. Apparently Mara doesn't mind polygamy! LOL So there would need to be a toggle I think where you can pull up your list of Mara partners and designate which one(s) you allow to share your house equally. Which is probably more trouble than ZOS is willing to go to.

If two strapping young adventurers pledged for XP, they should be able to also share, be they Lad or Lass :)

I didn't know you could have multiple marriages...if you wed 2x and wear both rings and are in a party with both people do you get xp for both?

Lots of players who married each other did so mainly to help grind XP both before and after TU. Allowing them to share each other's property and access to each other's inventory or similar things would cause considerable problems along the lines of guild bank plunders or fallouts of partnerships, not to mention those who are married but haven't played with each other in months or years.

Ideally it would be optional and sharing turned on or off, guarded by the same code system we use for logging in to new computers :)

I'm certain anyone will be able to visit each other's houses, for example by being in a group.

However, it would be nice to be able to share a residence, so you can enter, decorate and utilize the house even if your significant other is offline.

Yup! if you are a married man/woman you should be able to share houses. However you can only put things in it if you bought the house. This can easily be rectified by your in game spous purchasing as well. If there is ever a split, both players get a separate instanced house with their own stuff respectively and there will be no issues with that.

Also who cares about perverts? Shoot man, let them RP marriage sex, family, and kids all they want. The real question is- what are you doing in their private home? Here to steal some sweetrolls?

I'm not sure how zos could pull that off, unless it only applies to housing items in their own category.
