UNABLE TO CLICK ANY IN-GAME MENUS

Ok, so after this latest update (which I didn't do until today after work), I can load the game. I can play the game fine.... UNTIL I purchase something. It doesn't matter if it's from an in-game vendor or from a guild-store merchant. After purchasing one item (from anywhere) the game does something extremely weird - For 1, I can no longer access the system menu (ESC Key). Pressing said ESC Key literally does NOTHING. Also, I can pull up the various menus in the game, but I can not click on/access anything within those menus. So for example, I can approach a wayshire and click 'E' to bring up the wayshire menu (which is basically a map), but attempting to click on the wayshire icon on the map, nothing happens. Another example - I can press the "I" Key to bring up my inventory, but clicking on any of the items in my inventory does nothing. Combat is another function that also stops working. But character movement seems to be unaffected. What the hey...? And because I can no longer bring up the system menu (ESC Key), I can't logout or quit from the game itself. I have to ALT-TAB and then close ESO via my task-manager. I've had to do that now 6 times. I'm also a ESO+ member, so you can imagine my irritation.
