Raid volume error

Every patch I get this error, crashing my whole pc. Writing from my smartphone atm cause pc is still rebooting....
Tried repairing the client, tried a full reinstall. Nothing works. It took me over 2 hours! just to log in last night. Been trying over an hour this morning...
If I do manage to get ingame, loading times are ridiculous, I'm talking 3 min plus...
If I can stomach all that and push on the lag makes the game unplayable.
Only have this issue with EsO not with any other game I play.
Can anyone offer some advice pls?

You probably have a failing disk in your computer.

No I don't, but every patch off EsO makes my pc think it does. Everything works perfectly unttill I start the EsO client...
No problem with other games or software. Can make videos of me playing GW2 all day as long as I don't click the EsO client...

Try another disc if you can. Raid errors come from your operating system (or even deeper down). ESO does not even know you have a raid array, they are transparent for application software. Other games probably work since they take up a different part of the disk.

To the extent of my knowledge, I just don't see a scenario where any application software could make a raid array fail. They don't have any direct access to the array, they just ask the operating system to save their data for them.

Guess this has nothing to do with this?

Whne you boot your PC, your raid controller should check the health and SMART status(System Monitoring and Recovery Tools) values of your hard disks in your array and will stop the boot process of your pc completely if any of the disks fails a SMART check and will show your array as degraded. Are you seeing any messages like this from the black and white DOS like text that shows up before the windows load screen does from your RAID ROM?

Also it could be possible that your Raid Array or the Raid driver is somehow corrupted. Depending on what Chipset/Raid Controller you have, you could probably update the Raid driver in device manager by pointing it to an updated folder or ini file containing an updated driver.

Worst case scenario you can do a Windows Back up image of your entire PC on another hard drive. Destroy your Raid array, erase it, and recreate the array, then restore your Windows image back to the array. I'd try updating the raid controler driver 1st though...and of course...bck up your PC prior to trying it in case something goes wrong you cna boot from a windows disk and restore your image back.

WOAH! We are not yet to the point of destroying the RAID aray and recover from backup. Chances are this is not a Raid issue but an issue within Windows itself. I know the title says Raid volume error but the error he sent us is not a Raid error but a simple APPCRASH.

Before you start destroying everything in your PC do the following:

Open ESO and wait until it crashes. Once it does TAKE SCREENSHOTS and post them here, also check your System and Application events in event viewer and check for the recent failures then post it here.

While waiting for your answers you can reboot your PC in safe mode with networking to test opening the launcher then and see if you get the same error.

To reboot in safe mode click start and type msconfig. Go to Boot and select Safe mode and check Networking.

One thing at a time here. Don't go all Leeroy Jenkins on your PC yet.

So with the One Tamriel patch again a heapload of trouble so I bit the bullet. Full uninstall and reinstall (again). No more errors, no more trouble so far. Guess it wasn't hardware but ESO client afterall...
